So, how was your week? I spent a lot of my day yesterday reorganizing my office (the doll room) and I am going to head out to Target in a few minutes to pick up a few more clear bins so I can try to organize all the doll accessories that are now sitting in one big box. While I am continuing to get organized, enjoy all the photos that have been sent in this week.
From Delaney – Faith is enjoying nature.
From Agnieszka – Amelia got tired and said she just HAD to sit down to have a rest. The town looked rather gloomy, which worried Amelia, but what can you expect at this time of the year? Oh, let the spring come soon!
From Alyssa – These two sisters are BSF’s (best sisters forever!)
From Gracekelly – MyAG number 56, Rachel is reading my gluten free cook book and helping me make power protein balls. Rachel is wearing Marie Grace’s meet dress and a custom apron.
Also from Gracekelly – My cousin’s doll 55, Victoria, and my Saige are taking a ride on Victoria’s Our Generation motorcycle scooter.
From Hannah B – Chrissa was super tired tonight and fell asleep early!
From Diana – I finally got to alter the dresses I found at Target and I also included my new find from Goodwill.
From RaeAnna – Felicity and Kirsten (my two retired AG’s) hang out together.
From Tony – Jane (Marie-Grace) and her doll, Elizabeth, are away on a short trip to visit her Grandmother for a few days.
From Grace– Norisa (MAG #21) plays the violin for her orphanage “sisters”. The farthest doll back is Avery (MAG #25) and the Kirsten, and then Rosie. (a baby doll who I turned into a 5-year-old cancer patient.
From Julia – This is Saige forming her wish list. It is pretty big for a doll like her, because it contains 46 items already and she is adding more!!
From Elly – I forgot to send this picture in for Mia Throwback Thursday. Mia has her meet outfit but decided to borrow Nikkis Gala outfit because it was too warm inside.
From Venus – I found Jerry the Computer Mouse! Jerry is Char’s assistant on Doll Diaries. He is the one who makes the final approval if all comments by either letting them through or eating them, plus he makes all the updates on the site. Have more questions about Jerry? Just ask Char! (**From Char – haha, you are sooooo silly, Venus!)
From Elizabeth – Thank you Doll Diaries! McKenna and Julie’s (Historical AG) shirt fits them great! But McKenna thinks it’s hers.
From Julia – My new Build-a-Bear, Coco.
We love seeing what you make for your dolls, adventures they have, and great finds. If you would like to submit your photo for next week’s Sunday Showcase, here are the basics:
- RESIZE your photos to 540 pixels wide (this is easy to do using one of the free tools www.picmonkey.com, ipiccy.com or fotoflexer.com)
- Email your photo to firstname.lastname@example.org (it must be your own photo – do not take photos from someone else’s site and submit them as your own)
- Put “SUNDAY SHOWCASE” in the subject line (I get a ton of email & this will help ensure yours makes it in)
- Make sure you include a description or caption for your photos
Have a great week! We will be featuring items from the retired American Girl Club for this week’s Throwback Thursday.
