Ivy has been invited to a Cookie Exchange so she needs to start baking her cookies. “Baking” doll cookies is so incredibly easy – you can use anything – from fun foam, to stickers, clay, felt or a combination of materials to make them. Just in case you don’t have any of those supplies on hand, I have made you a printable page with some pre-decorated and ready to decorate gingerbread men you can use for your dolls.
Ivy’s cookie sheet was made by covering a piece of cardboard or fun foam that is 4.5″ wide by 3.25″ tall with aluminum foil. You can also use the pattern below with cardboard and make a cookie tray with sides if you want. Ivy also has a variety of cookies on her tray – from the Gingerbread Man cookies from The Queen’s Treasures to a fun foam one I made using the template below, a few paper gingerbread babies from my printable and even a Sock Monkey gingerbread made with a scrapbooking embellishment. This is super easy and you can get as creative and detailed as you want to get.
As always, use the printable and photo as inspiration! Use what you have on hand and your imagination to make this doll play activity uniquely yours!
You can also win a DIY Holiday Craft Stash for Kids and a $50 VISA Gift Card – just enter the Rafflecopter which is run by Laura as part of a DIY Holiday campaign.
