Today I have 4 historical doll nightgowns to share. This is kind of like those character quizzes. Instead of, “Which character are you?”, it will be, “What historical nightgown would you wear?”
First up Saige is wearing Kirsten’s (mid 1850’s) pioneer nightgown.
It is a cozy white flannel with a touch of blue decoration. It is warm, cozy and practical.
Marie Grace (mid 1850’s) has a light and summery nightgown.
The cream fabric with white and green flowers compliment each other. Thin elastic at the neckline, waistline and sleeve add a feminine touch.
Don’t move on before you take a look at the little heeled slippers that go along with this set! Yes I bet the slippers may just make it or break it for you! This set is summery and feminine.
Morgan is modeling Cecile’s nightgown (mid 1850’s).
It is a cozy flannel for cool nights worn with a sweet satin robe. The nightgown has nice details with scalloped pink lace along all the edges. The satin robe is edged with a ruffle that shows off the criss cross sleeves.
She is sure to stay cozy in her knit slippers. This warm set has a touch of elegance.
Samantha (early 1900’s) is ready for bed in her nightgown (retired).
It is made of a comfortable cotton and embellished with lace and pearls. This floor length gown has gathers and ruffles to fit in with the elegance of the Edwardian period in the early 20th century.
So what do you think? If you had to choose, which would you go for?
- Kirsten’s Cozy Comfort
- Marie Grace’s Summery Sweetness
- Cecile’s Warm Elegance
- Samantha’s Lace and Pearls
