Some of the most beautiful dolls I have seen are ones who celebrate the act of marriage or the religious First Communion – the dresses are just amazing. These special dolls are great mementos of very important days and are popular gifts (especially the First Communion dolls).
I love that you can find a wide range of styles – from authentically traditional to more artistic and of course, each of our favorite princesses has a wedding day dress as well. I felt like a princess on my wedding day – as do most brides.

I’d also like to point out that two of the Disney dolls don’t wear dresses that are movie accurate. And Tia’s dress looks far too big for her.

Why is it weird if they make First Communion dolls? I think it’s cool because when I had my First Communion, I wished that my JLY, Sallee, had a First Communion dress. I had my First Communion 3 years ago.
I have 5 dolls. Sallee, my 23; Nellie; Piper,my 38; Jaycee, my 27; and Margie, my 28.
I want to get married but not anytime soon-and I don’t take communion like that. I’m a Baptist so I’m not crazy about these.
It’s not because I’m a Baptist Im not crazy about them, its cuz I dont take that sort of communion and I wont be getting married for at least ten years.
