When it comes to having fun, the team at Adora Dolls have got it figured out! They had the brightest, cheeriest, most interactive booth at Toy Fair. They had one of their big FabFairies going around that you could take a selfie with, a walking talking version of their FabFairy, and they even had survival bags of goodies like snacks for press (that’s us). Everyone we met in their booth was super happy and could not wait to show us what is new in their 18″ doll line this year. In my Toy Fair Superlatives post, I awarded them Most Interactive Booth and Best New Doll for 2014 for this little cutie – meet Lola.
Lola is the fifth doll in the Adora Friends line of 18″ dolls. This is the Panda
Toutfit designed by the winner of last year’s by KIDS for KIDS design contest. I think it is adorable. Diana has a post for us tomorrow with more details about this great contest and how you can get involved.
Adora added five new sports outfits to their collection this year. From left to right – Alyssa in the softball outfit, Mia is ready for soccer, Jasmine looks great in the hot pink cheer outfit, Alyssa is ready for tennis practice and Kayla loves to dance.
The Town and Country fashion collection – these were available last year too – I just love the colors.
The bright and cheery California Sun collection.
I absolutely love the colors in the Snow Bunny collection. Each of the collections are created to be mix and matchable. All of the outfits are either $24.99 or $29.99 on the Adora website or you can find some of them on Amazon.
Why do dolls have all the best shoes? These purple buckle boots are just too cool.
Another look at the new friend Lola. Adora Friends are 18″ tall and they have soft bodies but are slightly slimmer than American Girl dolls. Like Madame Alexander dolls, the Adora dolls have a chest plate so they can wear sleeveless or strappy tops and still look nice. Their heads can move side to side and they also tilt which makes them fun to pose. Their hair is rooted and their eyes do close when you lay them down.
I bought Adora Friends Jasmine last fall – she was very happy to get a FabFairy of her own! Jasmine is wearing the trench coat from Our Generation Lana, black leggings and the funky polka dot boots from Silly Monkey.
