Our friends at Sophia’s Heritage and My Doll’s Life have been very busy this past year and have lots of new items in the works. There will actually be a part 3 – so stay tuned!
Sophia’s Heritage is launching a new collection of Doll Carriers for 15″ dolls and the 18″ dolls. These will be available by mid-March at specialty retailers and on the My Doll’s Life website, too.
The Doll Tote Bag is perfect for carrying a doll and her accessories or her favorite pet. The pink quilted material with the silver trim and big bow are just so much fun – very fancy feeling!
The doll concession stand was one of my favorite items from Toy Fair last year and it is still one of the most used pieces in our doll collection. It is incredibly versatile and can be used in so many scenes. Of course it is the perfect way to display all the fun doll sized food and treat sets that Sophia’s makes. The ruffle top swim suit looks like it is new, too.
I did a write up on the new 2 story doll house a few weeks ago and here is another look at it from the “deck”.
The Sophia’s Heritage booth at Toy Fair was bigger and better than ever this year. They had set up quite a few “windows” – each with a different scene for fun. This one was called Let it Snow and it features some of their winter outfits and accessories. Some of the items, like the pink coat are new, and the other items are already available – like the pink ice skating dress and snowboard set.
The snow tubing set is new, too. I’m loving the snowflakes and sweet white bear pattern.
So now for something different! Sophia’s Heritage has come out with the most ADORABLE line of wooden toys for the younger set. These are not doll sized – they are kid sized – but they are as cute as can be. Natalie wants to know why this sweet play food set was not available when she was little – she would have played with it for hours!
The wooden food sets will be available mid-March and even though they are not scaled for 18″ dolls, you could still use them as part of doll play.
The tea set is just to sweet for words!! Again, when Natalie was about 5, she would have been all over this set and would have had the most grand tea parties with every stuffed animal or doll she could track down.
I wish real popsicles were this much fun! The flower pots are just for helping display the popsicles – what a great idea!
Stop the presses!! A mixer just doesn’t get much cuter than that – and the cookies – I can see endless hours of fun for little ones with these sets.
The team at Sophia’s Heritage and My Doll’s Life are always working on new ideas and I expect we will see even more new things from them over the next few months.
I have one more Sophia’s post to do – trust me – I am saving the BEST for last.
