Happy Thursday everyone! Let’s take a look at some retired American Girl room items today.
From Lydia – This is the Curlicue Daybed with the Butterfly Bedding, and the night table that if I’m not mistaken went with it. It came with a number of accessories but all I have left is the phone, as I was little and lost many of the parts when I got this. On the trundle you can see the purple sleeping bag set. (Retired 2011).
From Heather H. – Here is Lindsey getting ready for bed in the first bed Pleasant Company ever produced! It’s a bright yellow bunk bed where the covers can be put together and zipped up as a sleeping bag. The logo on the sleeping bag and Lindsey’s pj’s glow in the dark!
From Vivian – This is the AG vanity from 2004. It was purchased from ebay, so some of the original pieces i.e. the towels are missing. Samantha and Emily (not pictured) love having this piece in their room!
From Kristen L.– This is a collage of the Bloom Bed & Bedding Set from the Just Like You line. It was released in 2009 and retired in 2011. The set includes a bed, mattress, comforter, flower-shaped pillow, and a green pillow.
Thanks for sending these in!
** CHANGED!! (I realized we spotlighted McKenna in December) Next week’s Throwback Thursday spotlight is going to be on GOTY 2010 Lanie. If you have photos of Lanie in any of her outfits, her furniture and accessories, send them in. Please save me time by resizing your images to 540 pixels wide first and put THROWBACK LANIE in the subject line of your email to me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
