Yesterday while I was at Michael’s Craft Store trying to scope out the new American Girl Craft line (which they had in the back but hadn’t finished putting out yet) I picked up the Doll School: For Girls Who Love to Teach! (American Girl) set for my girls. They love these sets from American Girl, but this one has the best play value of any of them.
As soon as we got home they immediately started setting it up and continued to play with it for another 2 hours until I said it was bedtime. It is a great companion for the desk set, too!
The 34-piece set contains everything a girl needs to set up her own doll classroom – including:

This is a good set. I just wish the food was…. real, but for the price, i excpected less from AG. I’d recommend the book, too.

Again, it’s so cool and it’s comes with so much. The night I got it at the bookstore, my brother and I went home and we made all the stuff you can make! Now only one more thing left: Imagination!

i have a question. ill be ?? on the 26th (yes thanksgiving!), and my room is starting to get pretty cluttered. in order to have a party, i have 2 clean it, and my doll stuff takes up ALOT of my room….i even have that giant white furniture piece that holds alot, and i still am having trouble…. how do you guys store your ag dolls and stuff. and yea, alot of it is in my closet already.
Lex– have you tried getting some shelves? I mean, like the really tall kind. IOt works like MAGIC! Also, you can get a box (if you want a new craft to do) and transform it into a wardrobe for your dolls’ clothes! It’s very fun!

Alex, like pioneer said, shelves are your friends. I have all my display dolls on mine, and I’ve even used one for a room for Helena and Kit to share.

Try getting little boxes and stuff for doll clothes and accessories.
My daughter got this as a birthday gift this past weekend. We love it. I love all the neat stuff that was included, along with a book for even more DIY ideas! If you have a color printer I suggest you make copies of some of the stuff, like the milk carton & crayons so all the dolls can have some! Hours of fun!
