The Perfect Gift for Girls Who Love to Teach

Doll School: For Girls Who Love to Teach! (American Girl)
Yesterday while I was at Michael’s Craft Store trying to scope out the new American Girl Craft line (which they had in the back but hadn’t finished putting out yet) I picked up the Doll School: For Girls Who Love to Teach! (American Girl) set for my girls. They love these sets from American Girl, but this one has the best play value of any of them.

As soon as we got home they immediately started setting it up and continued to play with it for another 2 hours until I said it was bedtime. It is a great companion for the desk set, too!

The 34-piece set contains everything a girl needs to set up her own doll classroom – including:

  • 32 page how to book
  • chalkboard/whiteboard
  • sticker sheets
  • the Rebecca mini book
  • a grade book
  • alphabet/handwriting banner
  • 2 posters
  • easel
  • world map
  • locker door
  • fake library books
  • 21 pages of teaching supplies like folders, journals, report cards, hall passes, class photos, art supplies and more

Doll School: For Girls Who Love to Teach! (American Girl) is about $15 (depending on where you get it) and makes a great birthday or holiday gift for any doll lover. It definitely will be on my Doll Diaries Best Doll Gifts list once I have it ready!!

Hey evry1! Wow! How long has it been since I’ve been on? (only a few days!) So, I went on a Lock-in w/ my youth group and stayed up ALL NITE! Really wat I did was walked, talked, ate (they had A LOT of food!!), swam (we were indoors! And we went @ 3:00 am!!), played some games, but mostly, helped my youth leader clean up. She was in charge of the Service Project and it had to deal w/ pipe cleaners, beads, paper, etc. So after every group was done, I helped her clean up. Then after EVRY1 was done, I helped her get the stuff in her car. And I didn’t fall asleep once! But then my body gave out in my dad’s car! I was surprised that I didn’t fall asleep in my youth leader’s car! So while y’all were sleeping, I was being active!

  8. pioneerfan04 says:

    ^^ :P

  9. Sara says:

Ur welcome!! Wat is Kirsten like? I mean, how hard is it to take care of her etc.?

  10. pioneerfan04 says:

Kirsten is gorgeous! I give her a 5 star rating! However, don’t take her hair out of her braids unless you know how to do it again. I did it, and I regret it, but it gives you the chance to wash her hair and such. Her hair gets REALLY tangled if you don’t brush it after you take her hair out, my Kirsten’s hair got so tangled that I had to do a downy dunk, which is considered by most a last resort. :P But she still is a WONDERFUL doll! :D

Oh, I got cast as the main character in my school’s play!!! Yay! :D

And my birthday is only in 14 (!!) days!!!!!!!!

  11. Gracie says:

Happy early birthday! My friend got Kirsten when she was little and her hair got stuck in a fence somehow and she had to cut it. Kirsten’s hair tangles easily.

  12. Gracie says:

    I just got doll school!

  13. Sara says:

  14. Sara says:

  17. Madison says:

  18. emma says:

    it’s so cuttteee!!:D
    i can’t wait to set mine up[;
i don’t really get the whole easel thing tho :o

  19. Lena says:

I’ve seen New Moon, and it honestly wasn’t better than Twilight. The acting was still bad, the CG was cheesy, and the lines were still corny.

  20. sunbeemz says:

Call me crazy but I’m not a fan of Twilight or New Moon. Anyways are the ALOF dolls as heavy as American girl dolls?

  21. Lena says:

*lifts Sonali and Laylie to compare* LOF’s are a bit heavier.

  22. pioneerfan04 says:

I don’t like the Twilight series either. It’s not my thing.

Speaking of ALOF dolls, I wish they didn’t stop selling them on the site because I wanted to buy Millie and Elsie one day. :( None of the stores around me sell them, so I’m out of luck.

  23. Giada says:

    Happy Thanksgiving!

  24. Sara says:

Happy Thanksgiving Giada and evry1 else!! Sorry I don’t have a link but I’m using my dad’s laptop and can’t find a good link.
