What a week it has been! Caroline’s official debut, back to school time, the start of a new reader photo contest and the wrap up of the 100 Days of Doll Play – whew, that is a lot! I do love all the photos you send me throughout the week, so let’s take a look at what is in my inbox for the Sunday Showcase today.
From agoverseasfan: I had lots of fun this week changing my Emily into Rupert, from Harry Potter. Emily was missing half an eyebrow because I accidentally rubbed it off with magic eraser so instead of getting her a new head I changed her. The photo is of Emma and Rupert from Harry Potter. From Agnieszka: Consuelo enjoying summer holidays and walking, walking… Here she visited the ruins of an old monastery which can be seen in the distance.

Emily was inspired by the Duct Tape TOMS tutorial and made a cute pair of zebra striped ones.

From Nina: I took your Regency Paper Doll idea and turned it into Caroline! I made her parlor, her in her meet dress and accessories, her traveling dress and hat and Spencer coat, basket, Inkpot, and her nightgown. I had a lot of fun making it! Thanks for the printables!
Asmita made a collage of her McKenna in a variety of looks.
Agtlcrepair was lucky enough to meet Aly Raisman during the autograph signing session at American Girl.
We love seeing what you make for your dolls, adventures they have, and great finds. If you would like to submit your photo for next week’s Sunday Showcase, here are the basics:
- RESIZE your photos to 540 pixels wide (this is easy to do using one of the free tools www.picmonkey.com, ipiccy.com or fotoflexer.com)
- Email your photo to share@dolldiaries.com (it must be your own photo – do not take photos from someone else’s site and submit them as your own)
- Put “SUNDAY SHOWCASE” in the subject line (I get a ton of email & this will help ensure yours makes it in)
- Make sure you include a description or caption for your photos

Liv, she made him to look like Rupert. Have you seen Rupert? He looks like that.
It’s so funny how Emily had half an eyebrow, so you turned her into Rupert, who played Ron, who, in Harry Potter, lost half an eyebrow!
And OMG, Sophie, from the angle McKenna looks like MyAG 35! I had no idea it was McKenna, lol!
I love AGOverseasfan’s! I’m a Harry Potter geek at heart, and I love the whole Weasley family. It looks just like Rupert and Emma! I don’t think she ruined her doll at all, Liv. It’s a customized doll. I plan on making a boy doll myself once I find one on eBay.
Nina- Those paper dolls are too cute! You are a good artist and very creative. Keep it up!
