I got today’s Sunday Showcase ready ahead of time so when this posts, I will be enjoying Easter Brunch with my family. Thanks to everyone who sent photos in this week – we all love seeing what fun adventures your dolls have had during the week. I got so many photos this week that there will be two parts for Sunday Showcase – this one and one I will post later in the day.
From Rachel – This is what my aunt, cousin, and I made. My doll Mia loves her new shirt and skirt!
Happy Easter from my doll family to yours! From Alyssa
From Sydney – Rebecca’s Room
From Tarynn – When my dolls heard the rumor about the new AG store opening in Disney World, they got very excited and insisted they go the minute it opened. Mia, McKenna, Caroline, and Chrissa even got out some of their doll-sized Disney things and paraded around in them. The tiaras are sold at many Disney stores, (they have a Mickey Mouse on them if you can’t tell), they are originally for humans but are perfect for dolls. I have no idea where the doll-sized Minnie ears are from, they just appeared one day it seems like. They are pretending they are Disney princesses.
From Elizabeth – Max and Kilee went outside and enjoyed the Spring Breeze. ax went climbing trees. But Kilee is scared Max is going to fall. “Get down from there!” Kilee exclaimed.
From Ellie – Elenora went sledding and she just came back. Next stop: inside to sip a warm cup of hot cocoa and sit by the fire (which will hopefully warm her little toes)!
Robyn made this gorgeous triple bunk for her daughter’s dolls! You can get the instructions on her blog – Krazy 4 Projects.
From June – Quinn (Hearts for Hearts Dell) and I went for a spring photo shoot! Luckily, there were no bees near the flowers!
From Courtney– My doll Saige loves car rides!
From Tony – Jane (Marie-Grace) is ready to celebrate Easter with her puppet, Mr. Hopert, that she made from Karen’s instructions. She modified her puppet a little by sewing it instead of gluing. Happy Easter, Everyone!
Amelia, Matilda and I wish you all a Very Happy Easter! From Agnieszka.
From Happysuz – I did a couple of doll crafts with my daughter’s Daisy troupe last week. Here’s one thing we made, ice cream sodas! There is a tutorial up on my new blog, zanaree.com. Kit is loving her treat!
From Grace – My mom’s side of the family is Swedish and I recently dug up this sweet little doll in need of TLC. So I built a little box that I put her in. She was a little bit to small (about 7-8 inches) to live with my AG dolls so I have no doubt this box will become her little home!
Karina and her daughter won the 123 Mulberry Street giveaway and were kind enough to share this photo of their doll modeling.
From Mika – I was at AGP Chicago for my birthday and got Saige Alexis (her middle name).
I made the bulletin board from 100+ days of doll play! From Alyssa
Frome Regan – Saige says Thank You for the Doll Diaries T-shirt.
Also from Regan – My dolls are wearing two store exclusive outfit the sweet dreams pj’s and the berry swimsuit.
From Kathy – Polly Pocket and the bunnies are enjoying the garden on Easter morning.
We love seeing what you make for your dolls, adventures they have, and great finds. If you would like to submit your photo for next week’s Sunday Showcase, here are the basics:
- RESIZE your photos to 540 pixels wide (this is easy to do using one of the free tools www.picmonkey.com, ipiccy.com or fotoflexer.com)
- Email your photo to firstname.lastname@example.org (it must be your own photo – do not take photos from someone else’s site and submit them as your own)
- Put “SUNDAY SHOWCASE” in the subject line (I get a ton of email & this will help ensure yours makes it in)
- Make sure you include a description or caption for your photos
