I hope you had a good week! After Wednesday’s snow storm where we got 8″ of snow, it now really feels like Spring! I am ready for things to green up so we can do more outdoor photo shoots again.
Also, we managed to max out the storage on the server last night so if you have sent me any emails in the last 24 hours that you don’t think made it, please resend – I have adjusted the settings on the server and all should be fine now.
Lots of great reader photos this week – enjoy!
From Tony – Jane wants to wish all the Marie-Grace dolls a Happy Belated Birthday! She made a fancy fan from the printables to celebrate.
From Diana – My two new Kidz ‘n Cats girls, Laura and Helen.
From Madelon – Josefina models a super cute Our Generation outfit complete with a “Paris” tote bag, bread, cheese, water bottle and her beret. The outfit was $12.99 which is a great value for such a cute set.
From Jordy – My doll Celeste went outside for a photoshoot!
From Julia – Saige is modeling her dress and scarf I made her out of an apron and belt and a bit of fleece.
From Ashleigh – Lilly is enjoying her last day before she goes to the Doll Hospital for eye surgery. We’ll miss her!
From Amanda – Molly in her holiday gown giving chocolate chip a bath.
From Regan – This is Maya standing at the door waiting to go shopping.I made the purse out of duck tape.
From Alyssa – I got a mini doll from Barnes and Nobel! Nellie is so cute and adorable!!!
From Cordelia – The dolls are continuing to enjoy winter! Today Katherine(Samantha) and Rose (McKenna) have put on their skates and skating outfits to enjoy some time at the local rink. Katherine is the more experienced skater so she is giving Rose a little help and encouragement.
From Venus – Jerry the Computer Mouse tries to eat Saige’s hair. Jerry, shouldn’t you be getting back to work at the Doll Diaries Office?
From Noelle – Eva loves her new Liberty Jane Clothing Sweater! She also loves that the snow is melting and it’s so close to Spring!
We love seeing what you make for your dolls, adventures they have, and great finds. If you would like to submit your photo for next week’s Sunday Showcase, here are the basics:
- RESIZE your photos to 540 pixels wide (this is easy to do using one of the free tools www.picmonkey.com, ipiccy.com or fotoflexer.com)
- Email your photo to firstname.lastname@example.org (it must be your own photo – do not take photos from someone else’s site and submit them as your own)
- Put “SUNDAY SHOWCASE” in the subject line (I get a ton of email & this will help ensure yours makes it in)
- Make sure you include a description or caption for your photos
