The sun is shining and the snow has stopped, but oh my, oh my, we will not be getting out anytime today! I don’t remember the last time we had this much snow! I know that many of our readers are dealing with the same thing this weekend – stay safe and warm; and if you go out in the snow to play, have fun!
Now, let’s take a look at all the photos you sent in this week for us to share. You know this is my favorite part of my Sunday morning routine each week.
From Madelon – Grace models her new look – very chic!
From Bridget – Look at this hairstyle I did on Isabelle.
From Farrah Lily – Julie and I are longing to see green grass and longer days of sunshine! This was a photo taken around our farm this past Autumn. Right now she’s looking at some cows munching on grass.
From Reagan: Even though it was cold Alistair Wonderland and Bunny Blanc couldn’t resist to explore outside they had so much fun walking on the fence together!
From Xyra at Tea Time with Melody Q – Tama found a unique dancing partner while the other minis finished putting away the Christmas ornaments. See more at http://teatimewithmelodyq.
From Maya – Rebecca loves the snow! To learn how to make her outfit visit my blog: dolls123456789.blogspot.com
From Theresa – I recently came up with this awesome idea for any doll mom out there. I was tired of being the “doll sitter” when my daughter had to be hands free for an activity so I created this doll carrier from an old pair of my daughter’s pants. I just measured out the doll in the pants leg and sew the bottom. I added a fancy ribbon and some accent lace I had in my sewing basket. Total cost of this upcycle project was $1.30 (didn’t have the ribbon)! Andrea was able to go to the Pennsylvania Farm Show with us while my daughter was still able to do the activities at the fair. I also made one from an old pair of fuzzy PJ bottoms.
From Diana L. – Happy Sunday! In my latest video on my YouTube Channel, I tell 8 signs that you may be obsessed with AG dolls, (I think all of us on here are! 😮 ) , and made a fun photo edit for it. You can see my video here:
From Stephanie – The pond near their house froze, so Jessica is teaching little sister Camille how to ice skate.
From Cordelia – I like this photo of Marisa (Maplelea doll, Taryn) because it highlights her dimples.
From Rosie F – Mina is sitting in the library, what better way to spend a winters afternoon when you are a bookworm?
From Tony – Aloha – It’s finally cool enough for Kanani to wear her fur vest she got for Christmas.
From Phoebe – My dolls, Ava, Maddie, and Consuelo, on the runway!
From Mimi – #Go Panthers, #Keep Pounding, #Dab Dab Dab, #Queen City
From Victoria – This week I did a photo shoot of my doll Brooke in the snow! The By Kids for Kids Blog
We love seeing what you make for your dolls, adventures they have, and great finds. If you would like to submit your photo for next week’s Sunday Showcase, here are the basics:
- RESIZE your photos to 540 pixels wide (this is easy to do using our favorite photo editing site Picmonkey and it saves me valuable time and web server resources)
- Email your photo to firstname.lastname@example.org (it must be your own photo – do not take photos from someone else’s site and submit them as your own)
- Put “SUNDAY SHOWCASE” in the subject line (I get a ton of email & this will help ensure yours makes it in)
- Make sure you include a description or caption for your photos
- Please just send in ONE photo per week for the Sunday Showcase so I can include everyone’s photos. If you have something longer or want to submit more photos visit the Get Featured page.
