Can you believe it is already September? As much as I love summer, I am also ready for the seasons to change and for all the fun that is FALL.
Let’s take a look at my inbox from this past week!
Hi it’s Mattie. This is my doll (whose name is also Mattie) being an offical tree hugger. If you are wondering what’s in her hand it’s her iPhone with an American Girl logo case.
Emily’s dolls had a fantastic first day at their new school!
Kanani posing by the tree from Skye.
From Madelon – Our doll is getting ready for bed in her new sleep shirt which is modified from a baby sized tee.
Ava P. sent in this picture of her dolls’ kitchen. Very creative!
Hi I’m Kat and this is #54 starring as Katniss Everdeen from the Hunger Games.
From Pretty Irish AG – I got Julie Albright as a 4.0 reward for myself. Even cooler than that was the fact that when I told the cashier, she told my maitre’d. Trying to get Julie out was a real adventure, but I’m glad I got her.
From Asmita – My Mckenna sitting in her room and enjoying!
From Aliva – Nikki the gorgeous fashionista!!!
Chloe’s doll modeling the My Life As brand trench coat outfit, backpack, and roller blades she bought at Wal-Mart.
Emily’s Tonner Ballerina enjoys tea with her new porcelain tea set and sweets that are actually erasers.
Dell on a walk in the countryside from Agnieszka.
This is a picture of my dolls meeting their new friend NATALIE (named after Char’s daughter)! She is the BFF Doll I won this summer on Doll Diaries. They are also celebrating Ruthies birthday! From aglover.
Kanani is so excited about her new outfit that she won from Doll Diaries She is ready to go ride the waves! From Rose.
From Dharma – A pink doll surf board and a zebra print boogie board. inspired by soul surfer! and some doll folders that i made from 100 days of doll play. the cupcake one is for Claira, the one with keys on it is for Felicity, the green heart one is Chrissa’s and the orange peace sign is for Kirsten.
I saw that SuperInkyMarina posted this video on YouTube of all the stock photos of the new AG September release items and thought you might want to see it if you haven’t already.
We love seeing what you make for your dolls, adventures they have, and great finds. If you would like to submit your photo for next week’s Sunday Showcase, here are the basics:
- RESIZE your photos to 540 pixels wide (this is easy to do using one of the free tools www.picmonkey.com, ipiccy.com or fotoflexer.com)
- Email your photo to firstname.lastname@example.org (it must be your own photo – do not take photos from someone else’s site and submit them as your own)
- Put “SUNDAY SHOWCASE” in the subject line (I get a ton of email & this will help ensure yours makes it in)
- Make sure you include a description or caption for your photos
