Good morning!! I hope you all had a wonderful week. I have had a few questions about Dolloween and I will put up a post with the details later today – it is happening!
But first – let’s see what your dolls were up to this week.
From Erin – I made a one of a kind cranberry silk dress. It’s trimmed with vintage lace and red beads. I also have it up on my Etsy page here. https://www.etsy.com/listing/251704012/ooak-cranberry-and-lace-silk-dupioni
From MyLittleMegara – Samantha helped me pick pumpkins. We got all sorts of pictures and she even met a barn cat! You can read all about it here: http://
From Fawn – The day started out rainy and cold but by noon the sun was peeking through the autumn leaves and the blue sky was beckoning all to come outside. Marcie’s baby sister, Anna Eleanor, woke from her afternoon nap just in time to accompany Mom to the bus stop. What a nice surprise it was for Marcie and her friend, Brynn! Marcie ran toward her mom. “Can Brynn and I please take turns pushing Anna home?” asked Marcie. “Absolutely!, said Mom, “A leisurley walk is a great way to end a busy school day.” As a shower of golden leaves fell around them Marcie kissed Anna and the girls headed toward home.
From Madelon – Grace is so excited that the New York Mets won Game 5.
Hey everyone! A few weeks ago I shared Elizabeth wearing a stunning mermaid tail made by my neighbor, and this week I’m sharing one of the other dresses my neighbor made for me; a beautiful Renaissance princess dress! I couldn’t deicide whether to have Willow (Caroline) or Avery (Marie grace) model it, but I think Willow’s hair makes the look complete. From Emily.
From Victoria – This is a picture from a photo shoot I did this week! You can see the whole photo shoot on my blog:http://victorialsmithauthor.
By Lila, Here are my two newest dolls Maryellen I bought at the American Girl Store in Seattle and Truly me doll number 37 I got for $26 at a second hand store. She needs a name can you help?
From Cordelia – With the weather turning colder, Rose is looking forward to snuggling under her new “Brilliant Bedding” from Maplelea.
From DanceDayz – Addy is relaxing on the porch for the last days of warm weather. It’s so cozy & warm.
From Isabella – This week on my blog dollsofthefort.blogspot.ca I reviewed Kits reporter set. I especially loved the little stack of newspapers it came with!
From Camille – Heres my doll Piper, with here new accessorie set from OG. She’s feeling a little mischievous. BTW, can’t wait to go to the new AG store opening in Vegas!
We love seeing what you make for your dolls, adventures they have, and great finds. If you would like to submit your photo for next week’s Sunday Showcase, here are the basics:
- RESIZE your photos to 540 pixels wide (this is easy to do using our favorite photo editing site Picmonkey and it saves me valuable time and web server resources)
- Email your photo to firstname.lastname@example.org (it must be your own photo – do not take photos from someone else’s site and submit them as your own)
- Put “SUNDAY SHOWCASE” in the subject line (I get a ton of email & this will help ensure yours makes it in)
- Make sure you include a description or caption for your photos
- Please just send in ONE photo per week for the Sunday Showcase so I can include everyone’s photos. If you have something longer or want to submit more photos visit the Get Featured page.
Have a great week!!
