Wow! What a week it has been. We are keeping our readers in the area that was hit by Hurricane Sandy in our thoughts. We have heard from some of you, but there are others we would love to have check in so we know you are ok.
Do you have anything fun planned today? We are taking a “field trip” to one of our happy places this afternoon so if you follow us on Facebook or Instagram (@dolldiaries) be sure to watch for some photos while we are there. I’ll post the photos here either this evening or tomorrow.
It looks like Karen’s craft post for Friday was a hit as I have already had a few people send in photos of what they made! Love it!!
Jen and her daughter Zoe used Fun Foam to make the Turkey Tiaras for their dolls. Bitty is just beyond cute!!
Katie from YouTube channel MyInnerStarUStudios said, “Hello Doll Diaries, today I made a terrific turkey tiara from one of your latest posts. I wanted to share a picture of it.”
From Agnieszka – It’s hard to believe that I took this photo just a few days ago while walking with Dell in a park. It was warm and sunny and I was wearing only my jeans and a T-shirt. And today it’s snowing like crazy, everything is white and I had to put on my winter coat, woolen hat and gloves! And poor Dell can’t leave the house so she’s just watching the whirling snowflakes through the window…
Rachel’s doll is buckled in for a wild ride on her Our Generation scooter from Target.
From Isabella – Julie and Amelia, having a conversation.
Candice says, “Just wanted to send a pic of my girls enjoying their new Springfield flip chair from the Doll Diaries giveaway. Thank you so much, we love it! Felicity is kicking back and relaxing in the new chair while Londyn hangs out with a book under the loft bed.”
From Vivienne – I made this a long time ago out of items I had. It is my version of Kanani’s shaved ice stand.
From Maire (I think) – It was really nice out the other day so I took McKenna out for a photoshoot. This is one of the pictures I took. I got lots of cute ones. She is wearing a little tiara hair thing that I got at a party.
From Madelon – Our doll says, don’t take my pumpkin away just because Halloween is over.
From Noelle – Lauren’s Photoshoot
Maddie’s new ice skates from RaeRae.
Sabrina sent in her photo – from left to right: Heather a 1992 18 inch doll (looks like Magic Attic to me) and Charlotte is a My AG doll. So my dolls are at the movies seeing Wreck It Ralph. They brought their blanket so they would be cozy. They brought junk food because they are junk food lovers and their pets because they are pet lovers! My dolls said “I love it! You have to see Wreck it Ralph!
Agoverseasfan’s dolls are ready for cooler weather! From left to right – Daisy-Alice, Emma-Rose, Mia,
We love seeing what you make for your dolls, adventures they have, and great finds. If you would like to submit your photo for next week’s Sunday Showcase, here are the basics:
- RESIZE your photos to 540 pixels wide (this is easy to do using one of the free tools www.picmonkey.com, ipiccy.com or fotoflexer.com)
- Email your photo to firstname.lastname@example.org (it must be your own photo – do not take photos from someone else’s site and submit them as your own)
- Put “SUNDAY SHOWCASE” in the subject line (I get a ton of email & this will help ensure yours makes it in)
- Make sure you include a description or caption for your photos
