Good morning Doll Diaries community! It is time for your favorite part of the week – the Sunday Reader Showcase!
From Lauren G.– Two mini American Girl dolls? In one weekend? Wake me up when this dream is over!
From Devyn- I just recently went to the AG store in Atlanta and my dad got me a surprise doll. Her name is Paige Brooklyn Julia Paulk (she has 2 last names). Just in case you are wondering, she is wearing a Springfield outfit and the flower is from the pudding desert at the AG store in Atlanta.
From Sabrina – Samantha sends her horse to Ivy’s pet sitting service.
From Lydia – Elizabeth riding Dan the horse on a nice day.
From Agnieszka – A portrait of my two dolls Christi (Paola Reina) and Sabine (Kidz’n’Cats) sitting at home on a very rainy day.
From Cordelia – Katherine and Rose are modelling the outfits that they bought during last week’s shopping trip. The dolls’ have chosen their new clothes for a special event in a few weeks’ time—Katherine’s very first violin recital!
From Eileen – I recently won the 6-piece mix and match set and my doll Mary wanted to model it. Thank you Char!
Also from Eileen – Saige arrived this week! Here she is with her sisters Felicity and Nikki.
From Tony – The nights are getting chilly and Jane is so happy that her mother surprised her with a new flannel nightgown and satin robe to keep her warm.
From Katie M. – This is Kit on her daily walk. She picked a flower that’s her favorite color and put it in her hair. I love this picture because it really captures Kit’s beauty. Happy Sunday!
From AGinParadise – Mini Saige is helping the other girls put the finishing touches on Isabelle’s bedroom that I made this weekend. Call me crazy, but I am already planning ahead that far!
From Jennifer – The beach spirit squad preformed on Sunday in Hawaii.
From Bethany – I took this picture playing around with my camera out of doors with Liberty. She’s wearing the black Springfield Dolls hoodie.
From Rachel E. – “We’re off to see the wizard!” sang Dorothy as she skipped along. My mom and I put together this outfit for the 75th anniversary of the movie “The Wizard of Oz”. I made the shoes using Springfield doll shoes, my mom made the jumper and Toto, and the shirt came with Shoshanna.
We love seeing what you make for your dolls, adventures they have, and great finds. If you would like to submit your photo for next week’s Sunday Showcase, here are the basics:
- RESIZE your photos to 540 pixels wide (this is easy to do using one of the free tools www.picmonkey.com, ipiccy.com or fotoflexer.com)
- Email your photo to firstname.lastname@example.org (it must be your own photo – do not take photos from someone else’s site and submit them as your own)
- Put “SUNDAY SHOWCASE” in the subject line (I get a ton of email & this will help ensure yours makes it in)
- Make sure you include a description or caption for your photos
- Please just send in ONE photo per week for the Sunday Showcase so I can include everyone’s photos. If you have something longer or want to submit more photos visit the Get Featured page.
(Please note – I am not accepting YouTube videos for Sunday Showcase anymore)
PS – For Throwback Thursday this week the theme will be RETIRED American Girl Winter Outerwear (coats, jackets, hats, mittens). Please send photos to me using the subject line: THROWBACK WINTER.
