How was your week? We had a good, busy week – just how I like it. Let’s get started!
From Gracekelly – with Felicity in Colonial Williamsburg
From Allyson – All week me and my sweet doll worked on making cute animations – you can watch them on YouTube. Just search ‘purpleson thepurpledino’.
From Tarynn – Chrissa was playing out in the snow and wishing for spring. She is wearing her snow outfit, idk what it is called, but it is from her collection. The hat is from Kit’s beret and mittens. I love the colors on her!
From Agnieszka – Chloe (a doll by Corolle) walking in the park among the evergreen shrubs.
From Granof4 – Lacie would like to wish everyone a happy First Day of Spring. This photo was taken outside our house on Wednesday, March 20th. Yep, that’s a snow bank she’s shivering in front of! Lacie, a Lace It Up Ellowyne, is wearing her original outfit with the Jet Ankle boots from W.I. and coat and hat from WindyCityShop on Ebay.
From Tony – Jane (Marie-Grace) is happy Spring is finally here and is ready for a Sunday stroll!
From Laura – My doll Hannah Schmedling modeling the newest t-shirt I made!
From Hannah – dolls decided to pose as the girls from Dance Moms! Chrissa as Brooke, Samantha as Kendall, Julie as Chloe, Gwen as Maddie, Logan as Makenzie, Sonali as Nia, and Kit as Paige.
From Katie – Happy Easter from my doll family to yours!!
From Elly – Saige at the airport, ready for some adventures!
From Julia – Yesterday I made some new bedding for Saige, the pillow she’s sleeping on and the comforter. I tried to wake her so I could take the photo by itself, but she refused as it was so comfortable!
From Elizabeth – Here is my Ellowyne (Plaid to Meet You) posing by a flower that grew out of nowhere. Don’t forget to water it, Piper!
From Madi – Here is my custom #40 (with hand-painted freckles), named Evelyn! I recently sewed both of her shirts!
The last few photos are from Cordelia – This picture shows Katherine (Samantha) in the “Anne of Green Gables” outfit from Maplelea. The outfit also comes with two shiny green bows for braids (not shown because Katherine insisted on wearing her signature bow). The pinafore has two cute little pockets.
Inspired by the bravery of Erin’s dolls, Katherine is giving us a peek at her bloomers, striped tights and high- heeled boots.
Not to be left out, Rose (McKenna) also has a new outfit from Maplelea called “Market Magic”. The outfit consists of the sweater, skirt, and hat. The pink top is part of another outfit, but goes perfectly with the sweater and the “High Stepping” Maplelea boots are extra. I just love both dolls’ new boots.
In the last picture, I’m not sure if the dolls are complimenting each other on their choices or planning their next clothing requests. Maybe, both.
And we will finish with a puppy hug from Diana!
We love seeing what you make for your dolls, adventures they have, and great finds. If you would like to submit your photo for next week’s Sunday Showcase, here are the basics:
- RESIZE your photos to 540 pixels wide (this is easy to do using one of the free tools www.picmonkey.com, ipiccy.com or fotoflexer.com)
- Email your photo to firstname.lastname@example.org (it must be your own photo – do not take photos from someone else’s site and submit them as your own)
- Put “SUNDAY SHOWCASE” in the subject line (I get a ton of email & this will help ensure yours makes it in)
- Make sure you include a description or caption for your photos
Have a great week! We will be featuring retired American Girl of the Year KAILEY for this week’s Throwback Thursday.
