I hope everyone had a great week and is ready to see what doll goodness arrived in my inbox this week!
From Madison Y – The blonde doll is named Julie. Her name is Julie because we don’t have the American girl one. The second one is Dana she is a Journey Girl and the last one is an American Girl doll her name is Ivy. Coconut got in the picture.
Ivy’s outfit is from Springfield collection.
Alyssa visited a store on vacation where she got Olivia and her pink pjs from Springfield Doll.
Lauren had fun practicing her photography with Elizabeth. This was my favorite set of the ones she sent in. Just gorgeous!!
Madelon saw these pieces of corn (that are actually salt and pepper shakers) and thought McKenna is ready for a picnic.
Ava sent in a few photos of her Julie’s doll room.
And here is Ava’s kitchen she made for her dolls. The fridge is made of an American Girl box and duct tape.
Erica’s dolls are having a conga line in celebration of her birthday.
Emily deconstructed some boxes and created a doll house from odds and ends she had on hand.
Jordy’s Pocahontas with the basket she made.
Delaney tried a few different kinds of French Braids on her dolls, McKenna, Lanie, Riley, Emily, Julie, and Molly.
From Nina – “I love Doll Diaries so much! The crafts are cute, the reviews are helpful, and I love seeing other people’s dolls. I have a picture for the Sunday Showcase below. My three dolls, Mary (a Just Like You doll), Lanie, and Ruthie. Mary is playing with paper dolls on the bunk beds my uncle made. Lanie is writing about an ongoing experiment on her AG bed. And Ruthie is reading mini AG magazines on her bed, eating popcorn. Her bed is a box lid. Thank you for reading my email. I hope you enjoyed my picture.”
Madelon’s Little Miss Matched Girl went to the Kennedy Center to see the Addam’s Family play and came home with a new instrument.
Asmita sent in this beautiful photo of her McKenna in orange.
From Hanna – I just wanted to show you what I made for my AG dolls. This is a shirt I made which has a button on the back, a vest I made because I was inspired by AG’s new outfit, and a really cute bag!!!
Natalia found a great article on how someone who works at the AG Salon loves her job.
Sharry submitted her latest YouTube video, Springfield Dolls Summer Barbecue.
AGOverseasfan made a great video of McKenna and her Olympic Dream.
We love seeing what you make for your dolls, adventures they have, and great finds. If you would like to submit your photo for next week’s Sunday Showcase, here are the basics:
- RESIZE your photos to 540 pixels wide (this is easy to do using one of the free tools www.picmonkey.com, ipiccy.com or fotoflexer.com)
- Email your photo to firstname.lastname@example.org (it must be your own photo – do not take photos from someone else’s site and submit them as your own)
- Put “SUNDAY SHOWCASE” in the subject line (I get a ton of email & this will make it easier to sort through)
- Make sure you include a description or caption for your photos
