Did you see that? That flash? Yes, that was June flying by!! Wow! July is here and I am so excited.
Thanks for all the great photos this week – time to show them off!
This is Maggie’s Moxie Girlz Avery doll.
Gail’s Little Miss Matched Artsy Girl named Balwinder (Pronounced Bell-winder) Here she is with her artist model sharing a hug. Isn’t she just darling?
Emma sent in this photo of her doll Lilly who enjoys playing outside. More photos of Lilly at: http://agfun.thewrightfamily.name/2012/06/summer-photoshoot-with-lilly.html .
Morgane from Bear, Dolly & Moi sent in some adorable photos of her daughter’s dolls ready for summer in their new swimsuits and with an Ana White Adirondack chair, during their stay-cation.
Lindsey and Molly are enjoying a day horseback riding and caring for Penny and Patriot. Susan has always wanted the American Girl stable, but since it was so expensive she decided to make one herself.
From Ava - It was really warm today so I brought Kit outside for her summer photo shoot. I thought she looked beautiful next to these flowers so I had to take a picture in her new summer outfit which is, the shirt from Kit’s skirt set from AG, Build a Bear trousers and a purple bunny clip for her hair.
From Madelon – My older daughter is taking a week long sewing class. Last night she made the AG doll a pair of sleep shorts which I think are super cute. I paired them with a tee shirt from the New York American Girl Place purchased on-line. The silver wording and sparkles match the pants pattern.
AGlover’s McKenna made herself a hammock from a toy boxing ring.
From Shannon – I just got my daughter Emily a doll Emily for her birthday. I love taking pictures and she wanted me to do a collage of her dolly. Emily is a high functioning autistic little girl with PTSD and TBI. She is in love with this doll and wanted me to do a collage for her room of places she’s been and where Emily has gone with her. She is a Madam Alexander Doll 18″ She is from the fashion Boutiqe at walmart. In this picture Emily is smelling the flowers. Emmy loves the outdoors and she wanted her dolly to smell the flowers like she does.
My name is Agnieszka and I am from Poland. I have been reading Doll Diaries for a few months now and I like it a lot. In fact, I start every day from visiting your blog. Thank you for sharing your photos, stories and ideas about dolls. Today I’m sending you a photo of my favourite doll, Rose (I renamed her, it’s Erin, Carpatina). She’s absolutely beautiful and I just love her. I got her in May after a long, long waiting. In the photo she’s on her first walk in the town where she lives now. I hope she’ll like it here in Poland. At the moment I’m waiting for Veronika from Carpatina. She’s going to be my birthday present. Seems to me I’m getting addicted to Carpatina dolls. I look through their catalogue over and over again and I want more! The dolls are just lovely with their delicate, sweet faces. I’m making secret plans to buy Julia next.
The very talented Amanda is at it again – check out this super cute hammock she made for the dolls using a placemat! See all the details at http://onebigcanvas.blogspot.com/
We love seeing what you make for your dolls, adventures they have, and great finds. If you would like to submit your photo for next week’s Sunday Showcase, here are the basics:
- Email your photo to share@dolldiaries.com (it must be your own photo – do not take photos from someone else’s site and submit them as your own)
- Put “Reader Photo Submission” in the subject line (I get a ton of email & this will make it easier to sort through)
- Resize your photos to 540 pixels wide (this is easy to do using www.picmonkey.com)
- Make sure you include a description or caption for your photos

I love your Little Miss Matched Gail ! Where did you get her ?
Aglover – you can get Little Miss Matched girls at Toys R Us, LittleMissMatched.com and Tonner.com
These photos are pretty nice- I LOVE the Emily Doll (and tht last photo’s photography)!
I also love what Emily represents- high-functioning autism. It’s a good cause, you know. This doll could be good for Emily (the human) because you never know when you’ll step into somebody with Emily (the doll)’s case. I honestly thought that doll companies looked at high-functioning autism like it’s nothing or something, because as far as I knew- there weren’t any dolls with high-functioning autism- I might get her for one reason and three hopes.
Hope 1: Some of the money goes to an autism foundation
Hope 2: I can find her
Hope 3:She’s not AG Expensive
AND, Reason 1:I think she’d be a great addition to my collection, AND, she’d be my first Madame Alexander Doll. (This is NOT the real reason- the real reason feels personal to me, despite the fact I told my local news. Yeah….
I honestly hope other companies do something like this- even though I highly doubt it- they might even pay more attention to a person suffering from SERIOUS autism, like people who haven’t gained their basic skills and all. But anyways,I should conclude this message because I feel like I’m off-topic here.
i still don’t see my doll in there.Oh great
How can’t you find her my doll picture
Alicia – the last email I have from you is a photo of your Blythe doll from June 22 and your photo was included in the June 24 showcase – http://dolldiaries.com/sunday-showcase-for-june-24/
