So many cute photos in my inbox this week!! I am actually going to do two Sunday Showcase posts today – this one will have all the Sunday Showcase photos and the one later this afternoon will show all the photos I have received recently from Doll Diaries t-shirt winners.
Melina sent in a photo of her Mia who is wearing a dress she made with a Heritage Doll Fashions pattern (they are partners with Liberty Jane)
Elizabeth sent in this super cute photo of her Hearts 4 Hearts Girls Consuelo (in her Folklorico Dance Dress) having a chat with her good friend Cleo (Little Miss Matched Artsy Girl).
This is Hayley’s Pre-Mattel Kirsten doll. She got her in September and then fixed her up and re-did her braids.
Sherie was the winner of the Matilda doll from A Girl For All Time, she wanted to show us that Matilda is enjoying her new home.
Jennifer’s cat Oreo likes hanging out with her daughter Savannah’s dolls – or is Oreo hiding out?
Molly is wearing a necklace Madelon made from a neat handle on an almond tea box.
Best Friends, Violet Walker and Asia Becker share a room in my town of Peacefulvalley, they are both wizards in the school Peacefulvalley School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
I have had questions about the May Reader Photo Contest already. I haven’t picked the dates for it yet, but I do know the theme will be “Lights, Camera, Dolls” – as selected by Natalie. Her reasoning is that May is a big month for recitals, plays and performances – so get your dolls ready!
We love seeing what you make for your dolls, adventures they have, and great finds. If you would like to submit your photo for next week’s Sunday Showcase, here are the basics:
- Email your photo to share@dolldiaries.com (it must be your own photo – do not take photos from someone else’s site and submit them as your own)
- Put “Reader Photo Submission” in the subject line (I get a ton of email & this will make it easier to sort through)
- Resize your photos to 540 pixels wide (if you can)
- Make sure you include a description or caption for your photos

So many interesting photo’s!
Do you reccomend A Girl For All Time Matilda?
Erin – I love our Matilda and have had fun dressing her in different clothing styles. She is very well made and has a unique look, plus her book is a must read for anyone with an interest in English history.
Cool! Mine will be thus afternoon. I dance and my recitals are in the first week of June…. But at least I have perfect ideas and stuff for this one. If u already won a reader photo contest can u still do it for fun?
Chloe – absolutely – and there is no rule that says you can’t win more than once. We have had a few people who have won twice already.
i like the theme, i have a dance recital in june and my talent show in may. Oh and love the pictures as always!
I’m thinking about getting the doll with short brown-black hair, brown eyes and no bangs. Does anyone have this doll?
I have a dance recital in June. a town wide band concert in May and a school band concert in June.
cool!! and i think i no wht i am going to do for my pics……….
Caitlin- My cousin has her and so does one of my friends. She is beautiful and has low maintence hair. Her hair has a different texture though. Not a bad one at all, it’s just different. To me she looks like a little mexican girl, but it’s your choice on what history you want her to have.overall i would recomend her for you entirely. Just don’t leave her around the house with no clothes on, or with out brushed hair because you lost her hairbrush.(that was my cousin’s doll. I hope she doesn’t find this comment!) Oh and I love the photos!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bella- Thanks!
All the photos a wonderful (and when I say all I mean everyone’s photo except mine ) and if anyone’s wondering why theres two American girl doll boxes behind the scene my doll room/doll corner was a reck because my puppy thought It would be fun to destroy my doll room/ dollcorner I put it back together though
