Are you getting excited? Have you got all your holiday shopping done? I’m almost ready – but not quite! I am going to do a ton of baking today so that tomorrow I can just enjoy the day. Speaking of things to enjoy… here are some fabulous reader photos that have come in this week.

From Alexis on our Facebook page – adding the finishing touches to the tree.

From Karen K on our Facebook page – For $1.99 I got my dolls this cute Disney Princess tin lunch box. Walgreens in the Christmas aisle. They had Cars, Mickey Mouse, and Elvis, too. Rebecca was too eager to share it and didn’t even change from her pjs for the picture.

And our final entry from our Facebook page is from Kristen – Tabby loves to read “Meet Molly” by the tree!

From Naomi – This is my paper Little Miss Matched Uptown doll, Holly Renee, holding her holiday gift, OX the Uglydoll.

From PrettyIrishAG – My cousin’s wife crochets animals. This is a cute little monkey called Otto Matick.

From Diana – My Dabbie dressed as Mrs Claus (outfit made by me), wanted to show you the Nutcracker we found at Michaels Craft.  I really think it was a dollar.  Perfect for the AG dolls as you can see, I actually like it better then the one that AG sells, because this one is bigger, the other one I find it too small.

From Rachael – Here is Molly lounging in her bed, browsing the latest American Girl holiday catalogue to get ideas for her Christmas list! (This was actually for the December Reader Photo contest but somehow it got lost among the Sunday Showcase entries – apologies Rachael!!)

From Mary – McKenna is eating her supper. She insisted that she could handle a “big” meal like real people eat.

From Madelon – McKenna taking her art set outside to paint. Madelon found this mini art set at the bookstore for $5.

Melinda at Kiki’s Corner has been doing a doll photo Advent Calendar series. Her photos are just too much fun and you should go take a look at the whole series.

From Agnieszka -My dolls and I wish you all a very Merry Christmas!

From Willsbardgirl – Chrissa (GOTY 2009) went out in the snow this week, so of course I had to document it.

From Mattie – Here Sarah, Emma, Gracie, and Mattie are enjoying the holiday season and trying to be sneaky with the gifts. Merry Christmas to you!

From Liz – This is a picture of Julie and Ivy showing off their colorful reindeer antlers that I made for them. They love their new festive look.

We love seeing what you make for your dolls, adventures they have, and great finds. If you would like to submit your photo for next week’s Sunday Showcase, here are the basics:

  • RESIZE your photos to 540 pixels wide (this is easy to do using one of the free tools or
  • Email your photo to (it must be your own photo – do not take photos from someone else’s site and submit them as your own)
  • Put “SUNDAY SHOWCASE” in the subject line (I get a ton of email & this will help ensure yours makes it in)
  • Make sure you include a description or caption for your photos
