I hope your week has been less dramatic than mine has been! I started the week with kids who were not feeling well, had to rush “Mr. Char” to the emergency room mid-week because he fell and broke his leg, and then spent the end of the week running back and forth to the hospital and getting Mr. Char and his gigantic cast settled back at home. Thank you to all of you for the positive thoughts and your patience as I continue to get caught up with all the reader photo submissions and regular posts.

Let’s take a look at some dolly goodness to brighten up the day!

From Diana – I want to share this with you, here she is after a little stuffing surgery and she is dressed with the springfield outfit and shoes which I got for $5 at Michael’s when they had their 50% off coupon.   Notice the cute little lunch bag, it came from the Target collection of Our Generation, they came out with three different bags, this one, a book bag and a tote bag, with accessories.  I only found them at the Super Targets.

From Audra – I recently bought Josefina’s summer outfit, and after removing the vest and hat, discovered what a gorgeous print it had and how pretty it looked with a regency bonnet. I also love the prints on the Spencer dress and the Christmas dress, which look so dark and gloomy with the black mantilla and black accessories, but are adorable when the focus is just on the prints themselves.  I’ve taken some pictures with my Katie doll. You can see the rest of the photos here.

From Agnieszka – This is again Carol on a walk in the forest. She is amazed at the amount of snow that fell during the last few days. We hope that this year Christmas will be white at last!

From Sierra – Here are my sister’s and my dolls. Elizabeth (myag # 33) and Jenny (our generation) decided to take Jenny’s little cousin Zoey (target mini-baby) to see Santa and the Christmas displays at the mall (aka Grandma’s house). The Santa and Mrs. Claus are my grandma’s, along with the little village. Exhausted after their little trip, Elizabeth and Jenny take a rest on a chair.

From Noelle – Caroline just figured in a few weeks she not going to be the “new one.”

Hi my name is Sabrina. This is my doll Charlotte. She thought it would be nice weather. She went outside and said wow it is windy! That is why her hair is messed up. When I went outside it really was cold and windy so I was not expecting it!

From Allie – This is Alexia and Mary, the twins. Mary has redder hair, while Alexia has caramel-colored hair. In the left and top right pictures, they are wearing outfits I made. In the bottom right picture, Alexia is wearing the outfit she came in.

From Madelon – December 15 was National Cupcake Day so the dolls decided to get in on the fun!

We love seeing what you make for your dolls, adventures they have, and great finds. If you would like to submit your photo for next week’s Sunday Showcase, here are the basics:

  • RESIZE your photos to 540 pixels wide (this is easy to do using one of the free tools www.picmonkey.comipiccy.com or fotoflexer.com)
  • Email your photo to share@dolldiaries.com (it must be your own photo – do not take photos from someone else’s site and submit them as your own)
