Happy Memorial Day weekend! I hope everyone has something fun planned. We have to go to a swim meet and then over to a family picnic so I am sure it will be a great day! Since May has almost passed us by, it is time for some new Spotlight Sites. Enjoy!
1. American Girl Spotlight Blog
American Girl Spotlight Blog has some neat reviews and trip reports. I think my favorite post of hers is how to create and hang artwork for your American Girl’s doll room using trading cards and trading card holders.
2. Springfield Dolls Blog
Miss Maggie is a huge fan of the Springfield Doll collection and has created a blog just to show the things she has made for them and includes great tips on caring for Springfield Doll hair and more!
3. The Spicys Doll Blog
The Spicys is a blog I just discovered yesterday but I am already so impressed! I absolutely LOVE their photography tips and hair styling tutorial.
Congrats to our Spotlight Sites!

WOW! I just had the best Memorial Weekend because I just went to Red Gate Farm and went Horesback-riding!!! (It was with my friend, also) It was so much fun! I hope everyone else is having a great time and thanks, Char for posting this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Do people see my first comment?
Chloe- Yeah, I saw it…You’re the firstie, which got me confused because everyone else is doing the numbers out of order…
Maggie- I know! I thought I wrote it but then I didn’t see it myself I see it now though,
Thanks so much for featuring us – glad you like our site – look forward to seeing you there!
im so so so so sorry chloe!!!!!!!!!!! i now mean thirdie!
Cool! I’ll ask my parents if i can have a blog.
Claire, no need to apologize! I just said that because I didn’t even see my own comment!
I love the pictures!
Hey Char, have you ever had a post about how to make a beam and bar for Mckenna?
I know you have one for the beam…
But for some reason I thought you had one for the bar too.
~abby
Cool:)
Hi Abby – if u mean craft wise for a bar. There’s no craft for the bar it would be cool though
Yep I have something fun planed. I’m going to the American Girl store today for my birthday.
oh happy birthday caitlin!
YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thank you thank you and i 100 more times thank you for posting this!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i just LOVE geting new sites to vist!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We have done a tutorial for the beam but not the bars yet.
Char- If you ever find a way to make the bar, please share it with us! My sister was hoping to get the American Girl Beam and Bar set for her birthday, but then it backordered, so the bar would make a perfect gift, along with the beam!
Thanks! My birthday is Tuesday. My aunt is brining me a doll outfit back from Hawii. Don’t ask how i know that even though I haven’t opened it yet
Okk!Thank you though!
I’m honored to be included, than’s Char.
And thanks to you too Sharry, for all the help and encouragment.
i would love to do the craft but where on earth do i get cards
Aglover – the trading cards come with the historical dolls but you could cut out your favorite photos from the catalog or print out your favorite photos and cut them down to size.
How do we become a spotlight site?:) I would love for me and my sister’s site to become one.
Just click on my name.:)
Emma – each month I pick 3-4 sites to highlight. I have bookmarked yours and it may be in the spotlight in the future.
Thanks Char!
Char- I hope you consider my blog soon for the spotlight blog. I love posting, and I think many girls would enjoy reading it, but I just need to spread the word.
