We are planning our weekend in Chicago and I just realized that in conjunction with the special events for Stop the Bullying Day, actress Sammi Hanratty (who starred as Chrissa in the movie) will be at the American Girl Place Chicago location on Friday, May 1 and will be at the Mall of America location on Saturday, May 2.
I plan on going to the American Girl Place in Chicago at some point this weekend – but I’m not quite sure when yet. Either way, it looks like there will be a lot activity there – they are celebrating Julie’s birthday on Saturday, too – so I am sure I will get good pictures, no matter what.
I also noticed Chrissa’s swimsuit set is back in stock – I had better call a personal shopper at the Chicago store and have her put one aside for me now as that has been on my daughter’s wish list since Chrissa came out.

i heard on new york times that the swine flu is passed through pigs (well it started with a pig) and in egypt they slaughtered more than 300,000 pigs! poor piggys may you rest in peace

Madi, they started, but they never finished slaughtering their pigs. Yes, the flu STARTED with a pig, but what is going around now is a mutation of 3 different viruses, not only the original swine flu. It’s not transferred through pigs anymore.

yes, Lena’s right, instead of people in the US getting Swine Flu from pigs, PEOPLE are the ones transmitting it. You could even pick up the germs yourself and give them to other people, and them get sick, you might not even get sick. Its a weird concept

There is one “suspicious” case in my district, the school of that student who might have it has closed down, but all the others are still up. All field trips out of the district have been suspended until May something, I forget. This is becoming sort of serious….Where I live (Texas) there are about 16 people diagnosed with it, but they number may have changed….

YAY! tomorrow I get to go to my aunts garage sale!! its may not sound funt o you but I get to see my cousins and sell things and make money! I get to make no bake fudgee cookies and two loaves of banana bread! me and my cousin Kalie split the money (if she helps) but she is pretty wild sometimes and shes only in second grade lol. I also will sell koolaid!!! my aunts house is totally awesome because she has a completly GIANT backyard. I have alot of cousins. here are their names and a bit about them….

i am soooo tired me and sarah p. have been up all night working on some frizzy haired dolls. We didn’t have a steamer so we used a humidifier and i burned my right hand. OUCH!!!!
