I have now heard from a few unofficial sources that the new American Girl Ruthie doll will be coming out in May. Ruthie, who is being released as Kit’s best friend, has been reported to be coming out May 1st. I am trying to get an official confirmation of this and will update once I hear back from an official source.
One thing I did notice is that the Really Truly Ruthie (American Girls Collection)
The pre-movie buzz for the Kit Kittredge movie this summer will be starting soon and I am sure the release of the Ruthie doll will certainly help kick it off.

yeha I’ve been waiting for ruthie evr since i was seven and my sis got kit, i just had a feeling they’d make her a doll and then they started making bff dolls and when i heard the movie was cming out i was so excited cause i knew theyd make ruthie and then seeing her book cover! oh you know what i mean. I slept with her trading card on my night stand and everynight i d say i know ruthies gonna come out, so im im over thrilled overwhlemed i guess! I’m 12 now almost 13
my mom would read kits books to me and i loved when ruhtie was in a part and theyd talk about her. i fell in love w/ her character and then i saw her in the pics of the book and i knew she was the doll for me.i might not play w/ them tht much anymore but i dress them up and have kits whole setup out waitin 4 ruthie, i know i never told you guys all this so here.
kits book was one of the first books ilearned ot read, just because of ruthie and her dreams of happy ending and fairy tales! It gets to me cause i grew up w/ her and he rmottos in my mind
