Production on the Kit Movie has Started

abigail_breslin.jpgAccording to IMDB, the next American Girl movie will be about Kit Kittridge and is due for release in 2008. The movie is being filmed in Canada and so far they have cast Abigail Breslin (pictured at left) to play Kit and Josette Halpert to play Ruthie.

Filming begins in June 2007, so I expect we will get more info on the cast and other movie details over the next few months.

We have really enjoyed the other American Girl movies and since Kit is my daughter’s favorite of the historical characters, I know she will want to see this one, too.
