Mia is a little disappointing to me because she looks so much like Nicki and she only come with skates and no shoes.
I don’t think she looks like Nicki, except the freckles. I’m sure it will be possible to buy her shoes. I rather like that she comes in ice skates though.

why am i NOT impressed? Mia looks way too much like Emily, Nellie, and Felicity! I can’t believe people are going so goo-goo-gah-gah over her! She’s just like every Girl of the year. she starts out oh so awesome and then she fades off.

Well i do noot agree with Sienna. I don’t know why she thinks Mia is not a big deal. Also she will not fade out because millions of girls will want her including me.
Yes I am one of those girls too, Kayla. Also (for me at least) none of the past girls of the year have faded out. I still like them and think they’re cool. But of course the only way to get them is to buy them from other people which means they would probably expensive.
Remember that this first picture is always so tentative, and the real thing usually ends up looking a lot different. I remember seeing really early pictures of dolls like Nicki, Julie and Ivy, before they were released, and when they did come out, their hair and outfits were sometimes completely different. So I guess we won’t know exactly what Mia looks like until January 1.
I am so excited already; I have every single Girl of the Year that has come out, and I don’t know how much longer I’ll be able to keep collecting them (I’m running out of room in my bedroom), but I’ll definitely be getting Mia.

Hey there, this discussion seems to be turning out a little like the other one about Mia that got the comments closed down, so I’m just going to say happy stuff. I like Mia’s hair. Felicity’s hair is a darker red, Nellie’s is a lighter strawberry blonde, and Emily’s might be the same, but it’s still so cute and good to have different shades of red! It looks fun to play with, I got Nicki, but I’m too afraid of messing up her curls to do much, so Mia might be fun. She looks distinclty different from the other girls for some reason…Felicity has different eyes I think, and Nellie and Emily have blue ones. They have different ace molds too. She’s cute.

I really want her and some of her stuff. Oh and cookiegirl56, I think Mia comes in shoes and her ice skates are accesories, so she will have shoes, which I think you said you wanted her to come in, right?
