One of our readers, Auntie Paula, is an Auntie who got snowed in on Christmas with three feet of snow. Since her dolls and she could not go visit her 5.5-year-old niece, they had a party instead. Wow! A hotel room! How creative!!! I’ve never thought of that! Once, about maybe 2 years ago, I played that my doll emily was going to visit her Grandparents in Colorado. I put her in a box and “flew” her around my front door as if she were in a plane. And then, under our piano I fixed up this awesome bedroom that she got to stay in. Then later, I poured a whole bunch of packing peanuts in our yard, and made a snowboard out of cardboard, and she went snowboarding! It was really fun and another time a few of my dolls went on a cruise in my grandparents room while they were away. They got to go to a fancy restaraunt that I set up on our table and they went swimming in my bathtub (on ankle high water so that they wouldn’t get wet, only their vinyl parts) But I usually just have them do ballet, go visit each other, sometimes get into arguments with their siblings, the little girls inviting other little girls to a tea party or to play dolls, playing with their shops, showing off there new fashions in town, and lots of other fun stuff!

I got a “life of faith doll” boa for my dolls and I put it on one of them with a white dress I made and it was very pretty, although it was a bit ridiculous looking, so I just had to pretend that she went into town and everyone saw how silly she looked! Imagination is soooooo fun!!! Me and my cousin also play all kinds of things with our dolls, we would usually pretend they were poor or in an orphanage. And once we had just watched Annie, so we played the orphange manager was Miss Hannagen, it was soooo fun especially when our dolls would sass her and call her like Miss Hannagen-doo-doo, lol! And everytime our dolls would start an adventure we would always say “Are we going to play modern time or olden days?” Because she had a lot of both, but we usually played olden days!
By the way, Jovi, are you an adult because you talk like you know a lot like adults do. When I’m an adult, I am going to still play with my dolls, or give them to my kids
They should make a 50′s doll! That would be so cool. I would so get her. I just think that is a perfect doll!
i think they should mak a 6os doll and she sees neil armstrong and wants 2 be an astronaut!
I just finished a wrap to match my dolls dress. Its a peach color with lace and ribbon!

I love hearing about what you do with your dolls. I have ten, and I’m still collecting!
Sometimes I feel ridiculous for still collecting AG dolls. Most girls my age like to spend their money on clothes, makeup, and jewelry. I guess I’m not one of those girls.
Although, my favorite stores are Delia*s, Anchor Blue, and Forever XXI.
Some people will ask why a High Schooler come to a doll website.
I guess its just my thing!

So r u a home-schooling-high-schooler ( hehe!) or do u go to the Celebration place? I used to run around the track there!! Bad memories, uggh!! I tripped and TORE (well, badly skinned!) my knees and left elbow! It took 3 1/2 monthes to heal!! Anyway these ppl came over earlier and we set up a hotel for the dolls and sewed matrices and pillows!! It was alot of fun!! At 1st we tried to make something like the cool set for this article, but obviously failed!! lol
Also, I’m not sneaking the computer, just FYI!!! It’s only 10 p.m. here!! g’night!

Haha! Yea, I’m a home-schooling-high-schooler. I went to the K-8 school up until 6th grade. I had the worst time there, so the day before Christmas break, was my last day of public school.
Sure, I miss the inside jokes and the funny moments, but I get to make my own funny moments with my friends when they’re out of school.
I dance; ballet/pointe, jazz, and hip-hop, so I guess that’s some of my social time. And then on Wednesdays, I go to a youth group called Impact. I used to be a part of Elevate, but that’s for 6th – 8th graders.
I see my friends there too.
I have a pretty good social life, even though I am a home schooler.
Now, back to dolls. Lol!
I have 10 days until Atlanta! I’m so excited!
I’m gonna get Chrissa, and just some cute accessories and clothes.
No funiture. I made that mistake with Mia’s bed last year.
I had bought almost everything that was Mia’s, including the bed. It was bad because I couldn’t fit the bed in our car.
I still got it, but my grandparents had to bring it like, 2 weeks later!
omgosh my older bro used to do Elevate!! He said something about it the other day… That’s all I know!!
lol I used to do dance at Central Florida Ballet.. 4 times a week 4 hrs. a day!! It’s about 5 min. past the Millenium mall!!! Also the Celebration school downtown WAS HORRIBLE!! And I only went 2 1/2 months I think!! Although I did like how you walked down the path to the gym!! Anywho, it only 12 days till I go to the Dallas AGB&B!!! IDK what to get though!!
Also, I used to do those same classes as u, Jovi!!

The reason I asked if you were an adult was because I have a friend who is an adult and she is just like you! You said you were goofy, well thats just how she is! And she writes just like you, and as a matter a fact she looooves stuffed animals and certain dolls (she thinks many dolls are creepy, she thinks mine are too!) She reminds me of you sooooo much
except you like dolls! Could someone tell me what “celebration” is? Sometimes I wish were homeschooled, I am actually part homeschooled, but I do it by myself, and I only go to school one day a week because I’ve been sick for a while, for over a year (its a looooong story) the bottom line is I can’t have what people would call a “normal” life cause a lot of the time I don’t feel well. I would loooove to do ballet or irish step dancing but my body can’t handle that right now

Yeah, well back to dolls! I love to make doll clothes although sometimes I don’t have the patience, haha! I love to set up my doll houses for my AG dolls and all the other kinda dolls I have. Wow! Its so fun chatting with you guys! And FYI (just like selena) whatever time I post its 3 hours earlier here so if I post at like 12 I’m only posting at 9 here, lol!

Celebration used to be Disney’s own town. Its in the Orlando area, and is about 15 – 20 minutes away from Walt Disney World.
Although, Disney does not own it now. At least, the downtown area of Celebration. The people here are mostly friendly, and neighbors help neighbors.
The one thing I don’t like is that some people assume we are rich. That is so not the case. Just recently, there has been some foreclosures because of the economy.
Yes, it is a nice town, but we’re all normal people living in a community where people help people.
Okay, gotta go babysit.

Wow! You guys are sooooooo great (and supportive!) I have 4 AG dolls! My oldest is Samantha, a look alike doll with bangs light skin and blue eyes, she was my first doll. She is so old and worn. And yet she has all these little memories on her like the bite marks on her limbs from my cat and the stain on her body from when I got her very wet. And of course all the dirt, lol! She is sooooooo pale because her coloring has worn off from me kissing her, putting makeup on her, and my dirty and oily fingers on her (all those things from when I was little), but I think she is still one of my prettiest dolls! She is a pre mattel doll, my grandma got her right before pleasant company sold the Company to mattel. Talk to everyone later, unless everyones gone to bed
