Guest counselor Anna Catherine has the perfect hair accessory to keep your dolls’ hair neat and festive for all the picnics and parades this week.
Hello! I’m Anna Catherine from The Disney Dolls. I’ll be today’s guest counselor! Punzie and I are going to show you how to get a hairstyle that will keep you cool as you celebrate Independence Day!
Supplies: a doll bandanna (or a regular bandanna folded over several times), some clear hair ties, a regular hair tie, and a hair bow.
Start with clean, slightly damp, detangled hair.
Take two front sections from either side of your doll’s head and keep them out of the way. We will use them later.
Now, tie the bandanna onto your dolls head, leaving those two pieces in front and the rest of the hair in back.
Now, pull back those two front pieces and tie off with an elastic, like so.
Now, french fishtail the hair all the way down (starting with the small section you tied off), then finish with a hair tie and add a pretty hair bow. If you need instructions on how to do the fishtail braid, check out Megan’s Fishtail Braid tutorial from a few years ago. Enjoy!
