Shopping for Costumes

Shopping for Costumes

Here is a picture of Julie and Stephanie at Woolworth (a five and dime store that was popular in the 70s). They are checking out the spooky Halloween records, and trying to decide if they’re too scary to buy! (the records are cardboard copies of my actual records!) Just behind them, you can see Ben Cooper costumes, masks and boxes. Back in the 70s, we had these costumes that were plastic masks w/ a plastic jumpsuit or smock of literally ANY character you could think of, and they were sold in boxes. Next entry…Julie picks out her costume! Stay tuned… Submitted by Sharry

Sharry this is so cool! It wets my appetite for more and makes me anticipate all the harder. The costume boxes, the masks, the little price sign on the table and the one up on the wall. . . oooh so much to see and so much to like. I am staying tuned SisterChick! Same bat time . . . Same bat channel . . .

Can’t wait for the next installment!
