The newest purchase with purchase at American Girl Place is the Sparkly Sport Outfit from last year. It may be purchased for $14 with any additional purchase of $30. In case you do not remember the outfit, it is a black long sleeve t-shirt that says American Girl in Pink across the chest with khaki pants and comes with sneakers. This outfit is available for the doll only. COMPLETELy off topic here- but I read an article from March 20th (link here: http://www.theolympian.com/105/story/71330.html) that talks about a new historical doll coming out this fall that is top secret. This site typically is in the know! And I want to know!
I am currently painstakingly sewing and recreating AG sized remnants of my 1970’s childhood for my interested daughter. I would like to know if I could wait a while and ease into it…
For those interested, I am hearing that perhaps the new doll in question is going to be Ruthie- for Kit’s friend. This makes a lot of rational sense, since the Kit movie was supposed to be coming out this fall. I like the friends aspect of the stories with Ruthie.
But another part of me is thinking, great. Another redheaded doll. How creative (sarcasm).
