There is a new trailer for the Kit movie on the American Girl web site – complete with scenes from the movie. The movie is the first movie based on the American Girl stories to be shown on the big screen – in theaters July 2, 2008.
It looks like the typewriter is going to be the star of the show – and Abigail Breslin looks like she is having fun. I love the scooter!
I reall want to see that movie. I had an assumption about what Ruthie looked like. My description of what I saw:
The same face mold as Kit
Reddish hair that’s curly, pulled back with a purple headband
A yellow-and-purple polka-dot dress
White knee socks…
and patent Mary Janes
Now I don’t think that’s what she’ll look like. But I could be wrong..
Casey, that is just how I pictured her, except with brown hair. ( And brown eyes) I think her outfit will probably be purple now, though. Doesn’t she wear a lot of purple in the trailer?
