New Hearts for Hearts Girls Mosi and Shola Now Available

The new Hearts for Hearts Girls Mosi and Shola are now available!! You can find them today on Amazon and they should be in Target stores shortly.

Hearts for Hearts Girls Mosi

Mosi, the long awaited Native American girl lives on a sheep ranch in New Mexico where she helps her mom and dad keep the Native American arts and culture alive. Mosi leads the way and although she struggles with challenges at school, she is working to overlook the differences among classmates and teach others the importance of standing up for what you believe in.   Purchase Mosi from Amazon.

Hearts for Hearts Girls Shola

Shola is a girl from Kabul, Afghanistan who attends a circus school where she learns to read, write and do math. She is learning to walk on stilts and juggle and will soon tour her country to help bring joy to children across Afghanistan. Purchase Shola on Amazon.

According to the Hearts for Hearts Girls Facebook page, Lauryce will be in stores again too (she is already available on Amazon). If you remember from last year, Lauryce, went quick and was almost impossible to find in stores. I have a feeling Mosi is going to be the same way – if you see her and even think you want her, buy her – she will go fast!

Hearts for Hearts Girls dolls are 14″ tall and oh, so cute. When you buy a Hearts For Hearts Girls doll, a portion of the purchase price is donated to children’s causes in those countries.

We are working on a Hearts for Hearts Girls giveaway for you – hopefully I will have the details by late next week.

  2. Kaylee says:

Wow, I’m so excited! Hoping to purchase Mosi this week…and super pumped for the giveaway!!!

  3. Nina says:

Cool! I want Shola, Lilian, Zelia, and Dell! (Sorry if I spelled any of those names wrong!)

  4. Lori says:

Mosi and Shola are already sold out on Amazon and I’m not sure if they will appear on or be regularly available in Target stores. We all know Zelia and Lauryce weren’t! I saw Zelias twice and NEVER saw Lauryce on the shelf.

If you’re in Target, go to one of the price scanners and type in the DPCI number. For these girls, it’s 086-02-1793. You just push the numbers on the keypad and hit enter. It will tell you if there’s stock in the back. If there is, it should be the new assortment with Mosi and Shola. Then you just find an employee and they can bring the case from the back and get you your dolls. I’ve done this before with other lines and it’s worked every time. There may be odd cases where it’s one older doll sitting back there, but really, all the old stock should be out on the floor. And if an employee tells you they can’t do that, then find another one or the manager. I got help from a manager once, so anyone who tells you they’re not supposed to help customers is lying.

  5. Lena says:

I work at Target, and we AREN”T supposed to open new boxes if there is merchandise on the sales floor. HOWEVER, if there is none in your size/color/the type you are looking for, yes, we are suposed to check with the stock room to see if there is any of the type you want.

  6. Maddie says:

I love the New Mexican girl Mosi her boots are cute!

  7. AGInParadise says:

I love the new girls! Mosi’s story seems like a mash up of McKenna’s and Chrissa’s to me, but she is very cute! I think Shola will come home and join her sister Dell. 😀

Darnn but Mosi is just soooooo cute!

  8. AGInParadise says:

Char, can you delete my first comment that I posted? I guess I forgot I clicked publish and added something to my second comment and clicked publish again. .-.

  9. grace says:

I would love to buy Mosi! I have Tipi this time and I am so happy to have purchased her. H4H girls are great to buy! Great doll to play with and great way of helping the children in need :)

  10. Lori says:

Right, Lena. If there are some on the floor, that’s fine. But if Dell and Rahel are on the shelf and the customer wants Mosi, then that item isn’t on the shelf and could be looked for in the back. Someone on Facebook said an employee told her they aren’t supposed to look in the back at all, which isn’t true. That’s what I was trying to warn people against. There are always lazy employees not willing to lift a finger and others who are happy to help.

  11. Sarah says:

I love both of them! They are definitely my two of favorite H4H dolls.

  12. Gail says:

shola might just be the one that wins me over b4 an israeli or boston girl is made… she is growing on me…

  13. Ellie says:

This makes me really want Shola!

  14. Agnieszka says:

Oh, they are both lovely and I really want them! But doesn’t Mosi look the same as Consuelo, only with a fringe?

  15. Lena says:

Consuelo has very straight hair, Mosi’s is slightly wavy. I think they also have different facemolds, but yeah, they do look alike.

  16. Lena says:

  17. Melody says:

Quakertown, PA Target had Dell, Rahel, and 2 Lillians on the shelf. :(
I didn’t bother anyone about looking in the back since the shelf was full.
    Will try Pottstown next.

  18. Gail says:

shola is sold out on amazon, not on and no h4hs are on I really like shola

  19. Kaylee says:

Man, my Targets are lacking because they only ever have Rahel….poor Rahel.

Seeing Lena’s pictures, I’m rethinking my decision on Mosi. She is not what was seen in this picture, ditto for Shola. : /

“There are always lazy employees not willing to lift a finger and others who are happy to help.”

Argh, that’s so frustrating! I had a sales associate tell me to look on the store’s website since I’d been searching for Lauryce for months – but I already knew the dolls on the website were “in store only” at the time!
It’s sometimes more complicated than laziness, though. When I worked in a toy department at a big box store several years ago, those of us handling that department actually identified the re-sellers who came in right after new shipments and would tell each other to watch out for them. They were always after the most rare products from any given release, and we purposely withheld some stock of rarer items so they weren’t all snatched up immediately from the sales floor by people who were going to just jack up prices. Kid collectors who came in could often only get the rarest of say, a “Cars” character toy, by asking. We also “couldn’t find things in the back” if it was a re-seller looking. Though, often, the back room was so blocked with stock that we couldn’t get to the new products if we tried!
