It does AND that IS Ruthie’s middle name in the books! In meet Kit I believe, it says her middle name is Ann! So you aren’t really changing the name even!!!!

i’m only adding Ann to Ruthie’s name, so that she has a middle name. she’s gonna be Ruthie Ann Smithens. doesn’t that fit perfectly?
