How Big is a My Twinn Doll Compared to an American Girl Doll
Have you ever wondered how big My Twinn dolls are in comparison to American Girl dolls? In the Doll Diaries forum, Gale posted a great photo of her My Twinn doll standing next to her American Girl doll. The My Twinn dolls are 23″ tall where as the American Girl dolls are 18″ tall.
The My Twinn doll looks like she could be the American Girl doll’s big sister!

Well, then get rid of her somehow! If you don’t want her, put up a garage sale and chances are pretty good that someone will notice it and go, “Oh, what a pretty pretty doll. My daughter would just love her!’

It is kinda freaky that their eyes don’t close when u lay them down.
I never realized how big they were b4! (Atleast compared to an AG doll!)
I’m just not sure if I like that doll. It seems too big to be able to play with properly. I think I’ll stick with my AG dolls.
Aw, all the critisism lately! 1st cabbage patch kids are scary, no my twinn? gosh, picky picky. Although yes, that doll looks big next 2 AG, she is very pretty.

Hey guys! We have to hang out at the Disney set today… my mom was hired for a Disney commericial. Even though this SOUNDS like fun, it’s kinda..um, frustrating?? Because you have to be QUIET on the set, and they actors are to busy to even talk to you!! But I really hope Miley Cyrus is filming today.
We’re off in 30 min. (It’s 5: 13 a.m. here) I’m going to bring Mia, my luggage bag (for all her stuff.. lots of ppl use luggage bags on the set) , and-of course- Claire!! LOL we’re going to play AG dolls on the set of the suite life or hannah montana.
I’ll take pics and TRY to post them…
O GREAT!!! My memory is full!! O wait, I can just bring my laptop!!! lol

The AG’s name is Karen Margaret, she’s a #13, and the MT doll is what they call a My Twinn Friend doll, and I got her for $60, cuz they had them on sale. Her name is Gwendylin Alexandra. They’re sisters.
I thought the MT dolls were a little scary at first, too, but then I got Gwen, and I love her just as much as my AG dolls! Yes, she’s a bit hard to play with, but all I really do is play with their hair and dress them, and carry them around the house
My brothers hate her though, and think she’s ugly. 
Oh, Gwen is almost 16, and Karen is almost 12.

I think the My Twinn dolls are really pretty, but just too big. That’s the only criticism I have for them. I was going to buy some AG stuff, but then changed my mind and bought a lovely gold locket for myself!! Hee hee, it’s an antique though. I will buy some more stuff when I get a little more money, and ask for some for Christmas, which I will get for sure. I wonder what I should ask for……
Gwen has a wig, so I assume they all do. I had to fix said wig, too! One of the strings of hair wasn’t sewn down to the wig cap; it looked like it slipped in the sewing machine. (I should know!)
My brother, who we shall call J, thinks she’s ugly, but he likes to annoy me, trying to get me in trouble. The other one, M, thinks she’s just creepy, probably becuz of her eyes.

Hey guys, I have a question, every time Ii post my name either says Kat, Gale, Ellie, or Jess and then it says lilybeth now.. why is it doing that?? I put in Lilybeth and my e-mail correctaly??
I’m not sure, but I do know that more than one of the commenters at Doll Diaries has created multiple identities. Sometimes when your comments don’t go through it is because there is a poster with the same email address and IP address already. SInce IP addresses are unique, it makes it hard for you to create multiple identities without me noticing.
I love the sense of community that you all have created here, but I do wish the creating multiple identities, exaggerations, and snippy comments would cease. If nothing else, just move it to the forum
And remember, anything you post here is open to pubic viewing now and forever. Your email address may not be correct, but everything can be traced via your IP address if needed. So stay positive, truthful and don’t give out any personal information.

Lulu is just a code name for her. I think she’s going to be named Rebecca cause AG put the trademark Rebecca up for opposition or something like that… thats just what I think!
an IP Address is like anumber that your computer has when you post comments–its not visible to the public just to the owner of the website.

I just found out that Rebecca couldn’t be the GOTY 2009 because its trademarked for a historical doll.
BUT – some of the possible trademarked names are Sonali, Lanie, Chrissa, and Diane (but Diane was never published for opposition… whatever that means

Okay, for starters the my twinn doll has a freakish size! I probably reaches my mid-thigh. 2nd even though they have more sales than american girl, american girl’s products hav more quality and mroe of a variety put in them. 3rd their eyes are squinted and creepy looking and their lips are a bloody red! Besides, Other than having a real identical twin, wouldn’t it be creepy seeing something that looked EXACTLY like you in doll form? Plus My Twinn doolls have a creepy look in their eyes. PLus i never heard of a boy wanting a creepy doll that looked just like him let alone a doll at all!
Well, I think American Girl dolls are better. I have one of my own and they are really adorable! I have seen a My Twin dolls in person and they are really big and not portable. They are really scary. Believe me.
I like American girl dolls WAY better than the “my twinn dolls.”
