My Twinn, the customized doll line that was recently sold off by eToys, seems to back in business. The My Twinn web site has a new look that has been dressed up for the holiday season, too. According to the Roanoke BBB, the company is now owned by TPC Acquisition, Inc. in Chatham, VA.
With the bankruptcy of eToys and the transition to TPC Acquisition, there have been many stories and accounts of My Twinn orders that have gone unfulfilled and dolls who were sent back for repair going missing. One such account has got a happy ending thanks to a Delaware bankruptcy judge who was able to track down a missing My Twinn doll that had been sent back to the hospital. According to DelawareOnline:

Thanks to the efforts of a bankruptcy judge in Delaware, Renee Hearne got her $150 doll back Wednesday after it disappeared as part of a roughly $106 million Internet toy-company bankruptcy. The blond-haired, blue-eyed doll, named Ginger, was waiting for Renee when the third-grader got home from school.
“I was so surprised. I missed her,” Renee said. “She looks the same thing as me.”
In Wilmington, U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Brendan Linehan Shannon pursued the whereabouts of the 23-inch doll after Renee’s mother, Carol Hearne, wrote him a certified letter last week.
I hope this is a new start for the My Twinn company! I hope that all the other dolls sent to the My Twinn doll hospital will be returned to their owners sooner rather than later. Only time will tell whether the third time will be the charm for the My Twinn company.

The only thing I remember about that …”transformation” was that it was the worst time – days? weeks? hours? it seemed like years – of my life. It was pure torture. No one came into the ally except for a few poorly clothed orphans, who quicky ran away. Then – I don’t know how long later it was – all of a sudden when I thought the torture couldn’t get any worse, it did. I was engulfed in the pain, before everything went black.
(it goes on to where she remembers when she is first a vampire, then it comes back to modern day. I’ll write l8r, g2 eat!!)

One thing I agree with Miley on. And reading Twilight, I liked Jacob better. And I didn’t really like Jacob. That shows my dislike of Edward.

OMG, I love Indiana Jones! My fav is the 2nd one! And then the 3rd and the 4th and 1st are tied for last. I have the 1-3 movies plus a bonus material DVD. I liked the 4th one, except all that alien bogus in there didn’t work for me. I thought it was so cool he had a son!!! Harrison Ford is an awesome actor, he’s kind of grumpy in real life….or so I’ve heard……. Um, Twilight was not as good as I expected it to be. Rob Pat in real life is, IMHO, u-g-l-y, no offense to anyone who likes him. Jacob (Taylor) is awesome in the movie though, he’s much better looking than Rob (in real life, not with his long hair in the movie). I used to like Miley a lot, I’ve kind of lost respect for her though

plz pray for my toe to heal : yesterday at (curse ye!) chick-fil-a , i opened the door on my toe and half the nail came off (my left big toe) .. i only cried alittle (what??it stung!) but it turned out alot more serious than i thought!! we had to go to the foot doctor (i like saying that more that pediatrist or whatev!) … ok wait let me back up, so b4 this my dad said they didn’t do shots there… so i go in, and the doc says something weird (in doc language i suppose?) so the nurse goes out and i see her getting a BIG needle!!!!!! at first i was like.. ok.. someone must have serious foot problems! but then she brought it in MY room!!!!!! so anywho, they put this FREEZING stuff on to make it numb (it’s so cold it HURT) then put 2 SHOTS in my toe (btw, each took 3 MIN b/c if he put it in quickly -this stuff burns- it would..well…burn REALLY bad!!) then had to poke around to look at it (and HURT, even though it was numb) then cut it off… oh!! and then put a “mini cast” (or so the doc called it)(lime green btw! i got to pick it out! hehe) on…….
so there’s my detailed description of the FOOT DOCTOR experience….. i still haven’t stopped shaking…
oh plus they made me lie down so i couldn’t see them putting the shot in!! torture… (i’d rather see it like all the other shots i’ve ever gotten)
oh i hate shots too! they hurt so bad especially the way my doctor does it,he’s kind of grumpy and really rough and he like jams it in my skin and it hurts sooo bad. and i hope your toe heals up really soon! if it makes you feel any better,i hurt my finger really bad becuause my little sister kept bending it and now i can’t write thrat good and it hurts so much.
but on the bright side,my mom said tomorrow we might be able to go to barnes & noble and if we go she’ll buy me an ag book! awesome!
and my old doctor was so much nicer than my old one,but she retired. she is way nicer than this new doctor. what book do u guys think i should get 2morrow at B & N? it could be ag or non ag,but don’t suggest anything really short(like nothing under 60 pages.) or really long(nothing over 300 pages.) and nothing really scary,because i get so scared from that. so just basically any AG Book or any book like ag.

oh wait real quick this is funny, so at the library i got 50-somethin’ books, (what? i like to read!) including happy new yr julie, and some nancy drew (only 1 OLD nd, otherwise newer ones) and i get home and start reading the julie book , and for Christmas, it says she got (nancy drew) “the mystery of the missing civilization” (or something along those lines) and i was like, “hey , that sounds familiar!!” so i look down at ALL my books, and the 1 old nd book i got was THAT EXCACT SAME ONE IN JULIE’S BOOK!! isn’t that ironic??
*shiver* i hate doctors… my doc has this…large (no offense to anybody!).. nurse and when they do the finger prick,,,, ok, so the first time i went we just moved here and i’d never had this done, and the nurse wasn’t even looking (she’s the front counter lady too, so had to hurry, and was yelling at someone) and JABBED it into my finger!!!! it was HORRIBLE.PERIOD. so when the doc came in the next time i was there… well thankfully *hallelujah chorus* it was nowhere near as bad, but it was kinda funny b/c my older bro (nick) didn’t have any blood coming out so the doc was like squeezing for 5 min or something!!
and that same day he decided to give me NOT 1, NOT 2, but 3 SHOTS!!!!! it was so bad that the next day (the day we were leaving for my g-parents, thankfully i got to go) i could hardly get up/move!! and i had a really bad fever, but i perservered to go, and what do i get?? ear block on the 1 (*grins sheepishly* almost) flight!!
I’ve been in the hospital SOOOOOOO many times, NOT FUN! And whenever they tried to draw blood, nothing would come out, cause I have this weird vein thing where I don’t get enough water so the blood doesn’t go through, so it makes it hard for them to test blood which takes a long time! One time they had to prick my arm in about 6 different areas of my veins. Shots aren’t that bad for me, its the drawing the blood part I hate, I have this weird phobia of seeing them poking my veins, if my veins stick out or something when I wake up in the morning, I seriously feel like I’m gonna go crazy with disgust. Yea, I know I’m weird huh. Anyhoo, I hope you feel better Selena. BTW, you haven’t felt anything until you have to have an ivy in you thats put in the wrong place! grrr, they put one in me when I went to the hospital once and they were like “we’re going to leave this in until we need to give you some water” and for 2 days it was in and they never did anything, never put water through it or anything! And it was in the wrong place in my veins, so it HURT like crazy. Ok, enuff about talk of veins, blahhhhh, sorry to gross you guys out, lol

My hospital story beats your hospital story, lol. I have MS, and on Valentines last year I ended up in the hospital, for two weeks. My insomnia gets worse in bright, loud places. I did not sleep for two weeks. And the worst part is, they treated me like a little child, promising I can go home tomorrow…… for a week! By the end of it I was so mad.
Not to mention that in that two weeks: 8 shots in the hands, 2 in my back. In case anyone is wondering, this is where my deep dislike of hospitals came from.
On a lighter note, WHOOO! My mom said she’ll get me Rebecca if I finish at least 3 of my classes (I started in November-January!)

No, they caught it very early, and I’m on a VERY strict organic diet (yeah, my doctor’s using me as a guinea pig to see if eating organic food stops the spread of MS. So far, it’s working!)

I got my ears pierced today, YAY!!! And we went to see a movie called 17 again. yeah, so that was raaaaaaaaaandom. guinea pig, (aka: Lena) I’m glad they caught it before it became serious! Maybe now that the docs know an organic diet works, they can help others. So what kind of food do you have to eat? I was once on a gluten free diet to see if I was allergic, I’ve also been on a milk free diet and nut free diet to see what was giving me stomach aches, turned out it was that I was sensitive to acidy foods, so I have to take this pill every morning so I don’t get tons of acid in my stomach, and to help acid reflex, I have it really badly, which I HATE! soooo byeee everyone….

lol. i got my ears pierced when i was 6. i got my uper cartlidge pierced this past summer.
I got mine done when I was 3. Cpet my cousin scared me that they freeze your ear, and I cried when they pierced them. Them my aunt yelled at my cousin for lying to me.
I eat normal food (like pizza, mac and cheese, fettuccine Alfredo) it just has to be organic. And once in a while, I’m allowed to eat non-organic foods (like when I’m at work).

(lol) i got them at claire’s (my name hehe!!) the day i learned to ride a bike. *shrug* not the dificult, just gotta keep ur ballance!! than it stunk cause i just went in and they gave me a teddy bear (which i dropped..ew.) used cotton balls w/ liquidy stuff put “guns” (what?? i was 4/5!!! they would let me look.) at my ear then just uh,,, “shot” them!! it wasn’t too bad. i didn’t cry.. or scream! (yay me!) and then they gave you earings for the month u were born in i got purple. i wanted blue!!
I got the month I was born too (sapphire). It didn’t hurt when they did it, I was just annoyed at my cousin for making me cry.
Cooking is fun! I have the american girl cookbooks (all 8 of them) and I always make the stuff in them, since it’s pretty simple.
Selena, I got my ears pierced at Claire’s too!!!! I had a giftcard, so I used part of it!! I got the October birth stone, but my real birthstone is Sapphire (Like you Lena!!!) I didn’t think they were that expensive but it cost like 36 dollars, but I guess that’s a pretty good price. I have to leave them in for 6 weeks, not taking them out at all. Then after six weeks, I can change the earrings and put any other earring in there, but I still have to keep them in for about 6 months. It would be cool to get my cartilague (<whatev) pierced but I doubt my mom would let me. There’s this girl in my class who’s only in 7th grade and she has a little stud in her nose. I think that’s a bit too young, but IDK

Sarah, all new piercings have to stay in for at least 6 weeks, because the earrings you got had medicine on them to help heal the wound.
i had this problem w/ my pierced ears where (it took like 2 hrs) when after the 6 wks we were gonna take them off, and they were like dried to my ear!!! it was HORRIBLE!!!

Well, in some cultures it’s considered beautiful (and on some women it is pretty) but most people it looks horrible on.
My friend is Indian, her mom and grandma have them, they’re actually beautiful on them, it looks so cultural with the Indian garments they wear. She says its an Indian tradition, and she’ll get one when she’s old enough. Ew, nose RINGS are disgusting (well, funny looking) ! The studs are actually pretty on SOME people, but its super gross when you think about how they put the backing on it; you have to stick it up your nose to put it on! But like I said, pretty on the outside! My friend wants to get her lip or was it bellybutton pierced? Guys, here’s a lesson on why you SHOULDNT get your bellybutton pierced! My half sister got it pierced and even though she cleaned it, it got really infected and it was so infected and painful when she came to our house to go swimming, she couldn’t go in the pool! I think tongue and lip piercings are not so very flattering, I mean what if when your older and you want to kiss your boyfriend or husband? You could probably take them out, but IDK if the hole would still be there. (no offense AT ALL to people who have them) AH! Selena I hope my ear isn’t all dried when I take it out

But yeah, Indians are who I meant. My friend Mithili is Indian, and she has a nose piercing, and I have to say, she looks really pretty with it. Especially when she wears traditional Indian clothes….. great. Now I want to buy stick on “piercings” and see how Sonali would look…..
I once tried piercing my doll Rose’s nose.
It looked HORRIBLE. So, I took it out. End of my nose-piercing experience.
I will never pierce my nose. It looks good on some people, but I personally just don’t want it. I have my ears pierced, I got them when I was ten.
I might get a second piercing on my ears, but ears are the only place any piercings of mine will end up.

um…well….about the nose piercing…..i think it is actually really pretty!! i mean just a little stud on the side. like kelly clarkson’s!! but, some ppl go to other extremes w/ nose piercings…..hoops….that sort of thing. if im not mistaking…the rings for noses doesnt have a back…
