The My Twinn doll line is back and it still has plenty of loyal fans. One of our readers, Lily, has shared some of her My Twinn and American Girl doll photos and descriptions with us – thanks Lily!!
The doll on the far left has the Wendi face mold from the 2003 China era. She has fair skin, light blue eyes, and golden brown hair. She is wearing a hand-smocked dress that was bought on eBay for $25 that included the dress, half-slip, and pantaloons.
The doll in the middle also has the Wendi face mold from the 2008 Virginia era. She has dark brown hair, green-brown eyes, and fair skin. She is wearing a one piece jumper dress from eBay that cost $16 (including shipping). I added the hoop skirt for extra fullness.
The doll on the far right has the Audrey face mold from the 2003 China era. She has very fair skin, blue eyes, and light blond hair. She is also wearing a hand-smocked dress that I bought on eBay for $25 that included the dress, half-slip, and pantaloon.
I like the My Twinn dolls because they’re more lifelike and larger than American Girl dolls at 23″ tall. Finding handmade outfits for them is enjoyable. They’re more expensive than American Girl, but it’s fun to have a doll that looks so much like you. Guess which one is Mini-Lily!
American Girl Kit and My Twinn Audrey look like sisters in this picture. Again, it was a complete accident that they are wearing similar dresses and look so much alike. In the background is a Seymour Mann Avery doll and to the right of Kit is Molly in her birthday outfit.
Felicity and Elizabeth are posing with their My Twinn counterparts. I custom ordered the My Twinn dresses from an eBay seller who makes girl and doll dresses for AG. They were $15 apiece (not a typo!) and included the dress, hoop skirt, mob cap, and purse. I honestly didn’t intend for the dresses to match Felicity’s and Elizabeth’s; I just happened to like those fabrics.

Anyone have Elizabeth? I do. I love her, but I got sick on her and she almost went to the Doll Hospital. But my mom called AG and they said to wash her hair. Now she’s good as new! But is her hair supposed to be like Julie’s or a little like Gwen’s? Cause her hair looks a little darker than Gwen’s (mine does)

wow this thread hasn’t been busy today.. “up” was pretty good. Much better than I expected. I recommend that and transformers 2 (I saw that Thurs…. or was it yesterday? IDK) . They were both reallllyyyy good. Trans. was like 3/4 fighting so don’t see that unless you can bear it

Hey Lena, you know how before, you were commenting on bookworms pictures of Rebecca’s phonagraph and stuff, and u said that there were stars on the table cloth, well the stars are the american girl stars and they are on the glass, not the tablecloth.
and also, if you look at the 2nd picture of Rebecca’s display, you can just see the blue bottle in the picture with the phonograph. The bottle is actually lifesize so i am guessing that those items were just put there to enhance the display.
Yeah, likley. I know for sure she’ll get the matryoshkas and the phonograph, but the other stuff seemed like too much. My bad, the stars are infact on the glass.
I don’t think she’s getting all this, but will be very happy if i’m wrong.
im all for recycling and dont believe in wasting things. i know pollution is bad. but of course the media has to blow it completely out of porportion and everything. adn the law is oging to make a few peolple rich thats all and more taxes.

I’m sorry to all of you out there with braces! I got mine on two days before Christmas one year and couldn’t enjoy any of the food because my teeth were in so much pain.

Yeah, getting your braces on is awful. It was nearly three years ago for me, but I still remember the pain. One of my friends likes to brag that she didn’t need braces, when in fact, she has chipmunk teeth.

Yes, it was sorta like chrissa’s bulling (is that correct spelling?). They made fun of her for that, and that her dad lost his hair (they hadn’t even seen him, but just said it b/c they supposed he had for cancer) They treated her bro even worse. It would be absolutely horrible to lose one dad, I can’t imagine losing two.
I just swam in our pool – alongside about 30 beetles. YUUUCCKKK. But the water felt great (our car temp. said 121 after movie, 105 while driving LOL) and the moon was beautiful.
I’m gonna take a shower now…

Priscilla, it’s not always that easy. You can’t just change your public school, they won’t let you. Priate schools cost money, and she may not want to be homeschooled.
she had to endure school for like 5 more months after her 2nd dad died, then they moved. I’m not sure what they do for school….
