how long is emilys hair? the doll
My Emily doll’s hair is shoulder legnth about. Maybe a little longer. It has a slight wave at the ottom. In the photo I took it is in a messy bun with a headband if you couldn’t tell.
Come to think about it its about 1 inch below her shoulders when you pull it straight with your fingers. Maybe 2 inches. Emily’s hair is hard to describe. On the website (www.americangirl.com) It looks much lnger than what I think it look. This is just my opinion though. I’m sorry I’m probably confusing you more…it’s just hard to explain. Sorry

Well now that Nicki is retired it is very hard to find her for normal price. If you are looking to buy her as a Christmas gift, your best bet would probably be Ebay. She is going for almost $250 on there right now…but that is probably because it is just before Christmas. If you were to wait until after Christmas I’ll bet that about $100 will be knocked off that hefty price. This is coming from the thoughts of a 13 year old so I don’t know for sure but that would be my guess.

I’m not sure…I really like Julie…but I’m waiting so see what kind of things Mia will have…I wonder if she will have her own pond or something….I know shes going to hsve ice skates…what do you think I should do?
Well, I’d say get Mia. Also here are things she’s getting: An ice rink, a bed/desk thing, pajamas(purple), and a green performance outfit… and a 2 in 1 hockey/ skating outfit, I think.
i got samantha’s bridesmaid outfit, the old ag FOR GIRLS bed canopy and um thats it lol.
i was gonna get mia, but i decided i’d wait to see if ruthie came out. heres hoping they stay true to the books.
my cousin works w/ ag and she got me a pair of mia’s ice skates, they are so awesome!

ag placewas so cool. instead of getting julie, i got lots of stuff 4 the dolls i have. i will get another doll after i save up though. my mom and dad got me the crutches set. it was out of stock when we went so mom will order it by phone.

But WHY is she $90??? THe last GOTY Nicki was only $87…………..if they were going to raise the prices of their dolls…shouldn’t they make the dolls come with extra accessroies or something? Does anyone agree with me?

American Girl has not raised prices in a while and the cost of the materials has certainly gone up. $3 is a reasonable increase.

I’m going to ask for Ruthie next Christmas and buy Mia with my own money.
i am saving for Mia’s whole world collection then I will start saving for Ruthie, since she will never be dis-continued while Mia will. And yeah now I’m OK with the fact that the dolls only raised $3.
