So the new Mattel Monster High line of dolls inspired by some of the most infamous monsters in history mixed with a dose of tongue in cheek humor was the #1 selling line of fashion dolls in 2010! Wow! As far as I am concerned, these dolls are still a little on the creepy side for me, but I do appreciate some of the humor in the packaging. My nine year old daughter, on the other hand, thinks they are kind of cool, but the first thing she said when we received on of the dolls for review was “man, this doll needs a sandwich!“
On the heels of last year’s success, Mattel has launched two new lines within the Monster High collection.
Monster High Dead Tired Doll Assortment: After a long day at Gloom Beach, the ghouls are “dead tired” and in need of rest and relaxation with some scary fun “ghoul” time. This assortment features dolls with eye masks, Dead Tired™ outfits and accessories.
Monster High™ Classroom Doll Assortment: The classrooms of Monster High™ are where freaky fabulous fun begins! Lagoona Blue™ cares for her beloved three eyed frogs in Mad Science class, Frankie Stein™ stitches up a version of her pet Watzit™ in Home Ick, while Ghoulia Yelps™ trades in her signature glasses for sport goggles before dodgeball in Physical Deaducation class. Each doll includes an alternate outfit, locker with stickers and a Monster High™ Student Survival Guide.
Additionally, there is a complete line of Monster High Party Supplies and Monster High Halloween Costumes just in time for Halloween.

I won’t be on that much anymore. So,who said MH are like Lady Gaga? Not much to me. Lady Gaga is much more nuts than these dolls! In my house, it is Gaga vs Madonna! My sis is with Gaga and says she is creative. My mom says Madonna because she is original.
