Personalized stationery is such a fun thing to have, even for a doll. To make these fun miniature note cards, you will need note cards or stationery that you can cut up and recycle or patterned scrapbook paper. I used one of my daisy note cards from expressionery.com to make these notes for Saige.
I cut out the little daisies and glued them to tiny fold over notes that I cut to fit into a clear box that came with my eyeglasses “fix-it” kit. You can buy little clear rectangular boxes at the dollar store in the craft department too. I added her name with a Sharpie Pen because I love their super thin tips.
Then I put them in the little clear box and added them to Saige’s desk. I wonder who she wants to write her fist letter to. Maybe she will write it to her new teacher at school or to a friend who is now in a different class. Letter writing is such a great way to communicate. The value of the written word can not be measured.
If you like Saige’s jewelry for her first day of school, it is made from the same note cards and the tutorial is on my website. I love to re-purpose things and create new and fun possibilities.
Happy Writing Letters and Making Stationery for Dolls,
