Mini Patriotic Hammocks From Tie Dyed Tees

We dyed t-shirts for the Fourth of July and this one ended up with the bottom cut off so I decided to put the leftover pieces to good use in a project for Camp Doll Diaries this week.

I cut the front and back pieces apart, removing the side stitching.  Then, I used rubber bands to gather the ends of the front and back pieces of the shirt to create two hammocks and then used two more rubber bands to hang them in the trees.   I added a few of our favorite mini dolls and they simply look adorable hanging in the tree.

There are so many fun things that you can do with tie dye!  This project post is a part of a really fun linky party promoting Tie Dye Your Summer with Tulip Brand’s One Step Tie Dye!  Check out these other projects…
Here are a few more tie dye ideas!

What an adollable hammock! We might make this, but out of some extra fabric, not T-shirts.
