On American girl go to fun for girls. There’s a place that says” who will she be?” Click on it. And that picture is definetly from the AG countdown. Also, I like red haired dolls, but I do want Ruthie to come, but she’s coming June 2008.
Mia is soooooooooooooo pretty! I want her sooooooooooooooooooo much and I can’t wait until she comes out! I’m so excited. A relative told me she saw her on Oprah and when I heard about her all I said was ” Wow! What’s her name? ” By the way, I have 4 AG dolls, soon to be 5. Right now I have Marisol, Kirsten, Emily, and Nicki, I am probably getting Samantha for Christmas. I am a huge fan! SOOOOO MUCH!
I love Mia so much! I wonder if they will make an ice skating rink for her! I’m an ice skater so this is a dream come true! I have 16 American Girls and soon 17!
You can save this picture onto your computer.Then you can print it off, e-mail it or do whatever you want with it! Just right click on the picture and when a small list appears click on “Save picture as..”. A save picture window should appear with a file name already in it, ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS PRESS THE SAVE ( bottum right ). Now when ever you want to access the picture, just press the start button, click on my documents and then press my pictures. AND IT SHOULD BE RIGHT THERE!

People, there’s way more important things to spend your money on! I mean 15 DOLLS? There’s people out there who don’t have 1 DOLL! not saying American Girl Dolls are bad, but there’s better things out there. Charities, your parents! They buy ur food, and clothes don’t they?

She is so pretty! I was really excited when I heard that the American Girl of the Year 08 was going to be named Mia, because that’s my name! And coincidentally we happen to look a lot alike, and we both like ice skating. I’m so going to get her. I was starting to get out of AG when I heard about her so now I’m back into it again. Yeah, the time is off on this, right now it’s 7:10 on the 23rd for me.
I just think it’s really sad that we don’t have the same last name, though, because that would be beyond totally awesome.

Yeah, Mia is really cool. Unfortunately I didn’t get any AG gift certificates for Christmas, but I did get a new cell phone, an iPod, and a Wii, so that makes up for it.

You should never have more then 2 americangirl dolls at a time, if you already have 2 and you want another one give one of them to a nice litte girl that you know would love it. Yes I think that two is a good number.

Thats not true you can have as many american girl dolls as you want there is NO rule saying that you cant have more them two ag dolls at one time. If a girl wants more american girl dolls i say its alot better then wasting your money on stupid stuff like makeup!!! I think girls should stay little,kind and innocent for a long time!!! I am an AG fan. I know how they came up with the idea for Mia. When I went to the Kit Kittredge Movie callback, they told me personally that my resume was the best one, and that the Girl of the year 2008 was going to be based upon my resume. I have red hair, Mia’s length, hazel eyes, and I am a figure skater, too! I have Samantha, Nellie, Kit, Nicki, and the doll with blonde layers and earrings, I call her Katie. 5 dolls, going on six or mabey seven because of Julie and Ivy.
Americangirl dolls rock! I have 8 and i want mia and am buying nicki and her ranch outfit on ebay! I bought four of my dolls with my own money too! I want mia’s whole collection! i have 2 dolls of the year Kailey of 2003-2004 and jess of 2006, soon to be 4 dolls of the year! i have Addy, Felicty, Elizabeth, and Julie! I’m selling Ivy and Josephina if you guys are interested they are each going to sell for $80 only! I also have two look alikes, one has short brown hair, brown eyes and darker skin and the other has long brown hair!
I don’t think having more than two dolls is a crime. I was told by my family that as long as I keep treating my dolls nicely and playing with them, they would still get me the AG dolls. I have (in order of recieving them) a bitty baby I call Hana Margaret, Kailey of ’04, Molly and Emily. I don’t think that is too many, and I love them, so I will keep collecting the dolls (including Mia- I want to rename her Delia-sorry folks!) and loving and cherishing them forever.
I definetly disagree with Jana, you can have as many as you want, they’re wholesome and fun! And like Bailey said, they’re better than buying make up and also better than other things you can buy nowadays. I’ll soon have 10 American girl dolls.

Hey, I have 12 dolls: Samantha, Nellie, Felicity, Elizabeth, Josephina, Kit, Kirsten, Addy, Jess ’06, Kailey ’04, Nicki ’07, and a today doll named Carly. I think there should be no limit to the dolls you have. They stimulate the imagination and are a good investement that can be passed down to children and grandchildren.
I don’t know if I will buy Mia or not, I will have to learn more about her in Jan., she looks too much like Emily. I will probably buy her pet if she has one though! I love AG SO much, and was crushed when I was two years too old to be in Kit’s movie!! Oh well, I still love AG.
I agree with Marcia. I have 5 AG dolls. I started saving up for Mia the second I heard she was coming out.Alexandra,did they really make the doll to look like you? I think that is kinda cool.I would definitly buy AG dolls over bratz or barbie or other dolls like that.I only like things like build a bear,webkinz,and AG dolls.I have 15 webkinz,5 build a bears and 5 AG dolls.(soon to be 6)I love Mia. I hope she has good outfits and like Gianna said,it would be sweet if she had an ice rink.
I think the book cover is so cute and wonderful. She looks like a real figure skater, tomboy girl. I can’ t wait for the doll and book to come out.

i used to have 5 but i know a family that survived hurricane katrina, but lost everything. so i gave 2 dolls to them. 1 for each of their 2 girls

I have bought TONS of other things besides american girl stuff. I personally bought 4 of my 12 dolls with my own money, so I know how expensive they are. I agree that sometimes we (collectors!!) can go overboard sometimes though. The prices for Nicki on ebay are ridiculous now, topping $200!! I would never pay that much for a single doll. If I had that much money in my hands I would put it in my bank account, or donate to a charity!
You are making a big assumption about these girls that have more than 2 dolls. How do you know they don’t give to charity? It’s their money to spend how they want. Don’t judge people that choose to make different decisions than you do.
