Meet the Doll Diaries Team

Welcome to Doll Diaries!! I created this site in the fall of 2006 as a way to share photos and doll play ideas as my daughters began to enter the world of American Girl doll and other doll play. Over the years the Doll Diaries community has grown dramatically and it has become known for being a safe and friendly place for doll lovers of ALL AGES to share their love of doll play and doll collecting.

The Doll Diaries team - Megan, Char and Natalie

Char Polanosky: As the primary blogger at Doll Diaries, I write most of the posts, moderate ALL of the comments, take care of the Facebook page, Twitter account and Pinterest account. I am a Mom to three (boy, two girls),  a web designer and a retired gymnastics coach who has rapidly become a doll enthusiast and collector over the past few years. Before starting Doll Diaries I was never really interested in photography, yet now I love it – and dolls are my favorite photography subjects.

Megan: Even though Megan was the first one in the family to start collecting dolls, she has moved from American Girl dolls to Barbie. Megan is a Barbie girl through and through – she asks for a Holiday Barbie or designer Barbie for Christmas each year. Her collection is very selective but dear to her heart. Megan does the doll hair videos and much of the editing of our YouTube videos. She has her own site, Razberriez.com, which is all about make up and nail tutorials, and writes for DollarStoreCrafs.com on occasion, too.

Natalie is my youngest child (Megan and Nat have an older brother, too) yet she is truly the dolly girl in this house. From an early age Natalie demonstrated a great deal of creativity and the ability to play for hours fueled by a large imagination. Now she shares her own doll photo stories, helps review products, advises me on the latest tween trends and is becoming extremely knowledgeable about all types of dolls.
