Karen here and today I am back with a fun fascinator craft for your dolls. Using items I got from Punch Place Plus, I was able to create a fun fascinator hairband that I know will be the hit of my St. Patrick’s Day tea party!
To make your own you will need:
- A Doll Sized Top Hat (I got mine from Punch Place Plus)
- A Doll Hairbband (I got mine from Punch Place Plus)
- Felt Scraps
- Small Green Flowers (I got mine at Michael’s)
- A low temp glue gun or glue dots
- Your Doll
Step 1- Assemble all your supplies and if you are using a glue gun, plug it in.
Step 2- Place your hat on a felt scrap and use a pencil to trace the hat.
Step 3- Cut shape you traced out.
Step 4- Lay out how you want your flowers on the hat. Glue them one at a time into place. Put the glue on the back of the flowers then press the flowers into place.
Step 5- Continue until you have all the flowers placed where you would like them.
Step 6- On the bottom of your hat place two dabs of glue and press in your hairband into place. Next glue your felt to cover the hairband and the bottom of the hat. Allow to dry and then your doll can wear the hat!
I hope you have fun finding and making green things for yourself and your dolls to wear this St. Patrick’s Day!
