Karen here and today I wanted to share a fun and easy doll sized Thanksgiving centerpiece you can make for your dolls table this Thanksgiving. To make your own Thanksgiving Center Piece you will need:
- 1 small foam pumpkin (I got mine at Michael’s)
- Fun Foam in Tan, Orange and Red
- Googly Eyes
- Glue or Glue Dots (I used hot glue)
- Sewing Pins
- 2 Small Buttons
- Your Thumb
Step 1- Assemble all your supplies if you are using hot glue plug in your glue gun.
Step 2- Trace your thumb on to your fun foam and cut it out.
Step 3- Place the eyes on your cut out thumb print and glue into place.
Step 4- Cut out a small orange triangle beak and glue into place
Step 5- Cut out a small red piece of fun foam as shown above in the photo and glue into place
Step 6- Take your turkey neck and glue or pin it into place on the front of your foam pumpkin.
Step 7- Add your turkey’s feathers to the back of your pumpkin, I used sewing pins but you can glue into place. Alternate your colors and trim your feather if they are too long.
Step 8- Trim two feathers, these will be your center piece wings, using a button and a pin press your wings into the foam pumpkin on both sides. Now you are ready to set the dolly table for Thanksgiving!
I hope you enjoyed today’s craft!
