Madame Alexander Alice in Wonderland Happy Meal Toys

Madame Alexander Alice in Wonderland Happy Meal

Someone emailed me asking if the Alice in Wonderland Madame Alexander dolls were going to be featured next in McDonald’s Happy Meals, and I am glad to say… YES! I am not sure of the exact dates, but if you go to HappyMeal.com, you can see that along with Batman, the Madame Alexander dolls are next – right after the Littlest Pet Shop ones.

Oh, no. Sorry not strike. Like a petition. But I know they were made for Samantha and Kirsten but I was thinking more a bunch of Molly lovers sitting outside AG places and protesting her retirement. They should keep at least one original.

  2. Emily L. says:

Lena, the right for woman to vote was also for mainly only adults, but Samantha was part of it, too. So, yeah.

  3. Lena says:

Sam would have been an adult by the time women’s vote was passed.

Mardi Gras is not for kids, that’s all I’m saying on the subject.

  4. Jenny says:

She was? Hmmm. I kinda think that Ag chose to retire those two dolls becasue their times weren’t very………”eventful.” I then learned they were the first 2 dolls.

  5. Lauren says:

Jenny, I know there are Innerstar University books coming out in September… I was thinking there were also books coming out June 2011 though, for a new historical. I could be wrong…

  6. Jenny says:

    Allot of people believe that.

  7. Jenny says:

I’m really looking forward to next June :p Not just for my birthday but also becasue o these rumors

  8. Lauren says:

Yeah, it’ll be fun to see what AG comes out with. :)

  9. Jenny says:

I just hope it’ll be worth it :P

  10. Lena says:

I’ll admit Sam wasn’t very eventfyl, but Kirsten was very important. She represent like 9/10 of this countries population, the immigrants.

  11. Grace says:

MOLLY!? Gosh, yesterday I read about the Holocaust…thank goodness that in the 40s pictures were black and white xP
Not Molly. Lots of old women who like AG also GREW UP in the 40s.
Bad move, AG. Don’t even think about it.

  12. Lena says:

I’ve met even more people who grew up in the 50′s. I honestly don’t think they’ll stop archiving just because we say so. They don’t listen to us, who make a very small percent of their customers.

  13. Mallory says:

I realllllllllllly don’t want them to retire Molly!!! She’s important in history!!!!!!!!! AND SHE’S IMPORTANT TO ME!!!!!!!

  14. Lena says:

Again, Sam & Kirsten weren’t important?

  15. Jenny says:

    Idk if they truly are:

Kirsten, though an immigrant, mainly talked about pioneer life. Samantha does talk about the suffrage stuff, but she’s mainly focused on life in the early 1900′s.

  16. Mallory says:

I think Samantha and Kirsten are VERY important!!! I THINK AG SHOULD JUST NOT RETIRE DOLLS!!!!!!!!!

  17. Jenny says:

Agreed :D Although I said what I said before, I DO like both dolls (Sam more than Kirsten) The only dolls I REALLY can’t stand Are Julie and Rebecca 0_o Odd but true

  18. Jenny says:

And Josefina (Sad but true) Idk why, but these girls jsut make me………….so wanan ahte them.

  19. Jenny says:

I THINK AG SHOULD JUST NOT RETIRE DOLLS!!!!!!!!!
    ===========
Agreed. Molly is important and cute :( So is Addy, Kaya, Felicity, Elizabeth and Emily! (Even Kit and Ruthie should stay, even though I hate them too)

  20. Lena says:

Kirsten represents every one of you, unless you happen to be native american. She is an immigrant, and at some point, chances are you ancestors were too.

  21. Jenny says:

I knw she was an immigrant. But mostly her books talked about pioneer life. I guess Ag decied to replace her now that Rebecca’s books also talked about immigration

D: I want to make up an 1890′s girl, but THEN I remembered how Samantha was designed as a Victorian 0_o

  22. Lena says:

But she’s not Victorian, she’s Edwardian, and it really shows. You can still make an 1890′s girl and Sam wouldn’t really interfere.

Rebecca’s not the immigrant in her family.

  23. Ava says:

    Your right about Kirsten, Lena.

  24. Jenny says:

Oh thank goodness :O I thought I couldn’t because Samantha was disigned as a Victorian (The books also calls other people Victorians as well)

  25. Jenny says:

Now I only have one problem and I’m good to go :D

P.S. Could a Twin Sister be a best friend doll?

  26. Jenny says:

Wait. :P I have more problems ahead of thee. Lol

  27. Lena says:

From a marketing standpoint? No. These dolls cost $10, people are not going to buy the same doll for a different dress.

From a personal standpoint, why not? A twin can be a real life BFF, and if you want two of the same doll as BFFs, go for it.

  28. Mallory says:

I know!!! They really shouldn’t retire!!! I personally don’t see the need!!! Lena, can you give me to website for the new fashion studios??? Thanks!!!

  29. Jenny says:

That’s good. :) NOW all I need is some looking back ideas…

  30. Emily L. says:

I agree about the Rebecca part, Lena! :D

  31. Jenny says:

Btw, anyone know WHy we need an e-mail adress in order tot alk here?

  32. Emily L. says:

I’m pretty sure it helps make the picture thing for us, Jenny.

  33. Jenny says:

    Does it? Cool.

  34. Lena says:

Google & Wikipedia are your friends, so is the library. Get some books on the 60′s, start researching.

We needed email before the picture. I think its a comment thing, everywhere esle you can comment o any web site you need to leave your email.

  35. Mallory says:

I really want Ana!!! Does anyone know when she’ll be availiable????

  36. Jenny says:

Never :K Internet and Wiki lies to me :D And plus, I’m working on my 1890′s girl now.

And okay……..it’s jsut that the first time I came here and chatted here, some stranger (MAybe Char, but idk) be-friended me on MSN 0_o I got so creeped out I blocked contact with them and then jsut well, left this site.

  37. Jenny says:

Nope D: IS AG even making her?

  38. Lena says:

AG hasn’t confirmed its making an Ana doll yet.

Jenny, may I also suggest the Dear America books? They have some very interesting stufff in them.

  39. Mallory says:

Awww, well, I hope they do!!!!!

  40. Jenny says:

    I hope so too :)

And i’ll see if we………..nope :p Na-dah. We have Dear Canada, but that won’t help me.

  41. Char says:

I did not friend you on MSN – and won’t do that to anyone. Your email address is private and not shared with anyone! You have to use an email address so that we can keep the site free from spam, junk and creeps. I can use the email address to email you if win one of our giveaways, if I need to caution you about appropriate comment etiquette or something along those lines.

    Char

  42. Emily L. says:

Um, Jenny, why would Char do that? O.o P.S., I have an MSN, too! Well, at my dad’s laptop. (The one I normally use since it’s fast and mordan. My mom’s is from the 80s throught 2003!) Right now I’m at my grandma’s, using her desktop. :D

  43. Jenny says:

I don’t really know who did it 0_o All they said was they “came back from their job.” D: I think I still ahve their adress……

  44. Jenny says:

Idk where my blocked contact lsit is, but that was where their name would be. The reason I thought ti was Char (Or someone here) was because this site was the ONLY site where I used my E-mail address. I was only thinking about my safety, which was why I left Doll-diaries for a long time.

The other weird thing was that that person “talked” to me when I first signed up here (Or it was my 2nd day) I thought it was a member here. I also feared it was some virtual stranger 0_o This was also why i asked why our -email was needed in order to talk here.

  45. Emily L. says:

BTW, on my mobile’s phone, she got this message that said something about a girl named Jenny. O.O Maybe the computers are slowly getting really random and typing stuff up by themselves……… :O

  46. Jenny says:

    Eerie……0_0

  47. Emily L. says:

Someone’s impostering me on a different website! What should I do?

  48. Jenny says:

:O Oh no! Uhh……..expose them as a fake?

  49. Emily L. says:

    What’s expose mean?

  50. Mallory says:

Ok sorry to be random but, MY SAMANTHA FROM EBAY WILL PROBABLY ARRIVE AT MY HOUSE TOMORROW!!!!!!!! YAAAAY!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D
