priscilla – to earn money, try getting a job or two walking dogs and/or feeding cats. I started doing this in 5th grade. Currently, I walk two dogs (they belong to the same person) in the afternoon 5 days a week. I get paid $2.50 for a 20-30 minute walk (sometimes more it if is a nice day) and have really gotten to know the dogs. I love my job! I also feed cats for three families when they go away. I just take whatever payment they give me. I have gotten as much as $10 a day doing this, $5 for a feed (some cats, especially those on medication, need to be fed 2x/day) + 15 minutes of playing with the cat(s). Multiply that by a few days and that’s a lot of money! Get to know your “bosses.” And don’t forget to save, save, save! Only buy the essentials with the money you earn. Whenever you feel tempted to buy something you don’t need, just picture yourself opening Rebecca.
I walk dogs and feed cats because babysitting would take up too much time and I love animals. I don’t get an allowance (my parents say they don’t believe in it, which I agree with) so all the spending money I have comes from my “work” and a little comes from my grandma, since she gives us $$ whenever we visit her.

Anne, I asked my mom if I could walk dogs, and she said, “Whose dogs?” and I said “The Majors dogs’, Brandi and Sprinkles,” and she said,
“You need to be more responsible with Copper (our cat).” I had just fed her, brushed her and cleaned out the stink-bomb box (yuck!) so I was pissed, as my mom would say. I would say, “dangerous.”
I scrolled up and saw Lily’s tips on car washing, so I said, “can I was the car???” And Mom said, “BE RESPONSIBLE!!! MOP THE FLOOR! UGH!
!!!” And then under her breath, “Shoot me.” So now guess who’s ‘pissed’?
So Becca’s going to have to wait, sadly. I can imagine her in that little boxed prison, never being able to sit, and smiling day and night,
plus waiting to be bought at the very back of the display, and maybe,
poor Becca! crying. I bet when I finally get her she’ll be so weak and
hardly be able to close her eyes.
Wow now I feel like a Doll Whisperer. Hehehe, lame joke attempt,
Oh on Friday and Saturday I will not be here. Road trip to AdventureLand!!! Yay.

They very likley are just discontinuing the hard covers, because they do have a shorter shelf life than paperback, and it does say “hard cover”.
Does anybody here have a 2005 Samantha? If so, how long is the back of her hair (uncut)? It would be easiest to measure this on the ribbon on her meet dress. Thanks!

Yeah, you did. Lena, but I was wondering if the length of her hair was changed slightly between 2005 and 2008, since I have seen side-by-side comparisons of a Sam from 2006 and a Sam from 2008 and their bangs and face paint is different.

The changes in her face are slight but very apparent. I was wondering if the hair length was also changed slightly, too. I guess they modify and adjust the historical dolls as time goes on…

Your right,the prices are WAY too high,the only reason i was able to get rebecca was because my Grandma bought her for me! All the other dolls i have i bought with my own money,and believe me,its HARD to earn that much money.

I am hoping that the dance team outfit is just that purple one piece outfit that comes with pon pons. I never relly liked that outfit and never in one milon years wood i buy that outfit, ever. I relly hope that is what they are tallking about and not the pink balarina outfit! If you find out the anser to my qeestion then pleese post the anser!
