Kit Kittredge Movie Soundtrack

The Kit Kittredge: An American Girl - Original Motion Picture Soundtrack will be released on June 17, 2008. The soundtrack includes a collection of classic songs from the 1930s and a few that are new/original pieces for the movie.

7. It’s Only A Paper Moon (Cliff Edwards)
8. Don’t Fence Me In (Josh Turner)
9. My Shawl (Xavier Cugat)
10. Your Best Friend (Bridgette Bryant)
11. An American Girl (Joseph Vitarelli)
12. Kit (Joseph Vitarelli)

The movie’s cast includes Abigail Breslin, Chris O’Donnell, Joan Cusack, Stanley Tucci, Jane Krakowski, Julia Ormond, Willow Smith, Austin Macdonald, Zach Mills, and Madison Davenport.

    First comment! You know what’s funny? I know and/or have heard of most of those old songs! ‘Don’t Fence Me In’ Was on the Bob Hope episode of the Muppet Show, the ‘Kit Bag’ song I first heard in an old Doris Day movie, and part of ‘Paper Moon was also on the Muppet show, but I don’t remember which episode. I know it was the first season, though.

    They should have “We Aint Got a Barrel of Money”. I saw the money trailer on youtube like the day it came out and i was singing that song all around the house! My dad heard me singing and he’s like, “What in the world are you singing?” Lolz!

    I cannot wait until this CD is released! I’m a huge Josh Turner fan, so I know I will love “Don’t Fence Me In” of the short clips I’ve heard. I’ve seen two of the American Girl movies, Samantha and Felicity. So I hope to see this one when it comes out.
