I really am so excited to see that MGA’s True Hope Bratz and Moxie dolls are in full production and will be on store shelves in June! This is a photo posted on Twitter by Hunger Games star Kalia Prescott of her holding a True Hope Bratz doll. The dolls were given to celebrities in conjunction with an event over the weekend to support cancer survivors. You can read more about the event here.
And in similar news, Mattel has announced that they will create a hairless Barbie in 2013 but it won’t be available for purchase, instead they will be giving them directly to children hospitalized with cancer. I applaud them for taking the first step, but they really need to make one available for purchase as there is no way they will be able to get the dolls into the hands of every cancer patient or survivor who might want one.
Back to MGA – I can not wait to see the True Hope Bratz and Moxie dolls in stores. I will be buying one for my son’s good friend Katie who was diagnosed with cancer in December at age 14, lost all her hair to chemotherapy, and after getting a clean bill of health this month she tried out for the high school soccer team and made it! That is one tough girl!
She’s pretty
This is so cool! And I say Stay Strong to your friend Katie, Char! : D
Who does she play in the Hunger Games?
According to IMDB she is Tribute Girl District 3

That is soo sweet…… You go, Katie! Keep strong!
I think they should make them open to the public. I know someone who would have wanted one. She went to my school and had cancer and died in second grade. I remember when she woould visit the school. All of the kids would run up to her at recess. They made a speical nook in the school library for her.
